Xiaflex or other treatments

i am a 60 yr old and for the last 6-8 months i have had problems with erections and swelling i went to a urologist he said i have pyronies disease he recomends  xiaflex an wants to start my 1st injection aug 31 i have no curve  is this too soon or should i try another treatment

You will get more attention from other forum members like that as your post was on a topic regarding to a specific urologist.
In my opinion, yes, you should try other treatment before Xiaflex.
Other members may think different.
Hope they will post they opinion :)

If you don't have curvature, I wouldn't start with Xiaflex for your issues. I am not sure what caused swelling. Your urologist should be able to tell you. There are other ways to treat ED. Xiaflex is mainly for softening the scar tissue that causes curvature.

It seems odd to me that your doctor is suggesting Xiaflex treatments if you don't have curvature. If you have erection problems then I would want to know what he/she thinks is the problem causing this.
