Hello, many thanks to the administrators and subsribers, what a great resource.

Have been to GP who referred me to Urologist.

GP stated peronies, Urologist stated not peronies.
But something dorsal  ligature.

Problem started 2 years after inaugural hernia op. Hernia caused by a slip on ice,

No plaque on old boy but distinct curvature, 90 degree bend, Urologist advised no help, medication possible, only suggestion was operations, stitches or graft method.

Only cause he intimated was lady on top action.
Went through options of meds mentioned Pentox, but he had no idea what that was....mentioned Ved but he was hesitant, on insisting of known improvents he advised he will pass my details on to a company rep to contact me.

WillING to try ved so thinking of x40 but not finding much on OTC here in UK but only looked online.

No confidence in Urologist...

I will start from the end of your post, many of us have no confidence in doctors.
You are stating that you have a 90 degree bend but no plaque. How you know you don't have a plaque?
You may want to get an opinion from a second urologist. Try to find one that is specialized in Peyronies.
Regarding surgery, we, on this forum, are considering as last resort and not a starting treatment.
VED is a good start, but I was adding to it Pentox 3*400 mg per day and low dose Cialis.

James
Age 71, Peyronies from Jan 2009 following penis fracture during sex. Severe ED.
Lost 2" length and a lot of girth. Late start, still VED, Cialis & Pentox helped. Prostate surgery 2014.
Got amazing support on the forum

James is right, find another Urologist - a Peyronies specialist. There is a list of well regarded ones here on the site.

I don't understand why he's suggesting a graft if there's supposedly no,plaque?  An ultrasound is the only sure way to determine whether there is plaque, the extent of it, if there is calcification, etc.

I hope, for your sake, that it's not Peyronies, but you need to be 100% sure of what you're dealing with before you begin any treatment.

Ultrasound or CT scan was offerre as an option, but only after 6 months, visit to Urologist only confused things, wasvthinking of revisiting GP for alternative referral. Can I demand a specific referral live 20 miles south of London, UK, any suggested names, as currently thinking of forking option VED and giving it a go....?

You can't demand anything from your GP, but you have the right to ask for a second opinion. Your GP does not have to re-refer you, but is unlikely to refuse without good reason. The best thing is to politely ask, and explain your reason. Do you need a second opinion?. Health Blog at Patient.co.uk | Patient.co.uk
As for scans, only a poor uro will refuse. It comes down to funding, and as usual no department wants to fork out cash to look at a crooked penis to find benign fibrosis or plaque. They have other priorities for their funding. However, if you were to be put forward for surgery or xiaflex injections, then they would have to give you a scan so they know exactly where to cut/inject.
