Hey everyone my name is Tim and I'm 34 years old from Central Missouri. My story begins early this year. I first went to the urologist in early March because I had been noticing an abnormal curve in my penis and some erectile pain. At my first appointment the dr put me on 5 mg Cialis and L Argenine. He had me take that for 12 weeks and follow up. When I went in for my follow up we decided that it had not helped at all so he called in a Dr who did his residency in Peyronies Disease and he scheduled me to come back for an ultrasound. I did that appointment in late May and he noticed I did have a slight venous leak on the left side that was causing a plaque build up but I was still getting good blood flow and full erections. He suggested that I undergo a plication procedure where he would put in a couple permanent sutures to straighten out the curve and reduce the pain. I went through that procedure in early July and all was well for awhile. I had a 55 degree bend at the time of surgery. About 2 months ago I noticed the curve becoming more prominent again and the erectile pain coming back again. I scheduled a follow up with my dr and saw him this past Tuesday and he put me back on 5 mg Cialis for 12 weeks and wanted to see if that helped at all. He said I should not have to go through surgery again but thought I would probably have to end up doing the Xiaflex Injections to reduce the plaque and help with the curve. I lost 1/2" of length after surgery and he said I could lose a bit more with the injections. I don't want to lose anymore. lol I can deal with the curve a bit, but the erectile pain sucks and makes it hard for intercourse. If you all have any questions or comments, please reply or send me a private message. Thanks for reading.

Hi;
And welcome to the club that none of us really wants to be a member of!

Firstly, I'm surprised that this Peyronie's "expert" chose old fashioned plication surgery as his first resort. Here, surgery is considered the last resort. I would suggest that you read about, and consider Pentox and ALC. You may also want to ask your specialist about these. You should also read up on traction and VED therapy. These will help with the curve and possibly help you regain some of your lost length. Pentox may well ease, if not free you, from the pain.

We talked about ved but didn't decide on it yet.

I've never heard of anyone losing length from injections. If anything, you could gain length back by doing traction along with your injections.

It sounds as though you are on the right track. But i would have thought the venous leak would have been the result of an unfortunately placed plaque, not the other way round. Moderate and responsible VED therapy is great for promoting general penile health in general, so it's worth getting hold of one. It has helped me regain some length and a considerable amount of girth.
