I have been looking at web sites about Peronies since 1999.  Up to today, all reports confirm that there is no cure.  So why do we bother reminding ourselves?

Since 1999? How has your case progressed since then?
It is correct there is no known way to transform fibrotic scar tissue back into elastic tunica albuginea tissue. That's what a cure would be. I personally like doing research on the disease in my spare time because it's such a massively under financed and under researched subject that even I could come up with something new. E.g. I have strong suspicions that Pentifylline might be much more effective than Pentoxifylline. It will probably take a few hundred years by my conservative estimation until there is a cure as defined above. But still small progress could be made in our lifetime and better treatments discovered, especially less invasive and less risky surgery.

Because there is no SINGLE cure for everyone. But there are many things you can do. Many on this forum have overcome Peyronies disease and have reversed or corrected their curvature. And that there is hope and to never give up. This is why we bother.

I am puzzled by your post. If you feel it is hopeless, why did you take the time to register and post on this forum just to say that? Obviously, those of us here do not feel that way. We agree it is not curable, but we also agree that there are ways we can live with it. I chose surgery. Am I cured now? No! But I can live normally now. If you were a diabetic, could you be cured? No! But you could take insulin and live a normal life. That is all we are trying to do. To get back to a normal life. Come join us!
