I am 56 and have had Peyronie`s since I was 46.

I am a Gulf War Veteran (Desert Shield/Desert Storm) and was diagnosed with CREST Syndrome in 2001.  Supposedly caused by sitting in a cloud of Sarin gas for 3 days!

I have always had a natural curve to the left and when it began to get worse I just thought it was part of the Scleroderma associated with CREST.  That is until intercourse became very uncomfortable for my wife!  Oops major Snafu for both of us.

Went to my Rheumatologist and discussed it with him first and he sent me to a great Urologist.  He was very understanding and we discussed many treatments.  When I told him surgery was out of the question, a hemorrhoid operation was bad enough, we began working on alternative ways to straighten the curve.  Jelqing is a very good exercise, but you need to be verrryyy careful and patient as you can make the problem worse and burst all type of blood vessels in your equipment.

The biggest thing I`ve found that helps me is PATIENCE!  Don`t expect too much too fast.  There is no fast treatment for this injury, nor a miracle overnight drug!

I am extremely blessed to have an extremely understanding wife who is so supportive and willing to try other things to keep our sex life active and better than ever.  A little imagination goes a long way.   ;D  We still lead a very normal life and since we understand what we`re dealing with, neither one of us are affected by the psychological nightmare that this condition can cause.

Anyway I am so glad to finally find a forum that lets me know I`m not alone in this challenge and can share my experiences and receive ideas from others.
