Hi all,

18 years old,new here and signed up for the info, and to ask a few questions.
I don't actually have Peyronies but do have congenital curvature for which this site seems to be pretty helpful for also.
Trying to come to terms with it for the time being, has come to the point where I worry it about every single day and almost obsess over it, haven't done anything sexual with my new girlfriend either. I feel like I need to solve this issue to be fully confident in myself, and to be A-okay, psychologically speaking. Seem to function fine otherwise, happy with length etc. Maybe a bit of minor psychological ED from the anxiety but yeahh.

Looking at getting surgery in the next year or two (tackling the issue early is the best bet I think!)

If anyone wants to say Hi, or share some advice/stories feel free to!

Thanks

Before you jump to surgery. I am not against, but:
How much curved and in which direction? Some curves have advantages on strait 8)

Hard to say, I honestly think maybe around 40 degrees downwards, weird thing is though when I lie on my back it seems nowhere near as curved??
I think the reason being is that on top of the curve, it points down slightly (the erection angle, think 3:30pm-4), which of course makes the curve seem a lot more dramatic than it actually is. If it does get corrected by surgery I imagine it would only point slightly downwards which I'd be fine with because at least it'd be straight xD

I would like to ask you, can't make a try to see how it works and if it is fine with the girl? 8)

James,

I'll get back to you on that one. We're still a new thing basically, been a few months and nothing has happened yet, she hasn't seen the package hahaha, but I do know she's more experienced as far as it comes to sex.
Anxious to see what her reaction will be, let's hope it isn't too bad and that more importantly, it doesn't impact on function.
Either way, I still think I'm set on surgery in the near future.

Of course all the decisions John are up to you and wish you good luck whatever decisions you will take.
I would like just to write bellow something that I learned from Hawk:
QuoteYou are not offering a woman a dick that just happens to have a tolerable life support system attached to it.
&
QuoteSome shallow female never built a woman to go along with her vagina.
What I want to say is don't be anxious regarding haw/what will happen. You will find out if she is for you or not :)

This may seem a vulgar comment but I am going to make it anyway. A penis curved the way you describe would be perfect at hitting the g-spot doggy style.

Have you had sex before? I hope you don't take that to be a rude or insulting question.
This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.

Not at all, I've done enough looking up of curvature to hear that come up quite frequently.

No offence taken,  the answer is no. And that is entirely due to the curve I think, I've shyed away from all the opportunities I've had so far because of it.

I'm all for accepting who you are, but if the opportunity to correct this without complications exists (which it does!) Then I think I probably will take it.

That is entirely true, no idea what her reaction will be but congenital curvature is supposedly fairly common (5-10% of men)
The appearance of it does bother me but I think the shape possibily affecting function and making things difficult is what worries me first and foremost.

Surgery is never without risk of complications, especially penis surgery.

I'd recommend trying out your equipment with a girl before assuming you need surgery.

True, but there's no denying that the success rate for the STAGE procedure is pretty impressive. (Something like 209 out of 211 patients were successfully operated on, with no residual curvature.)

That's on the 'to do list' ;)

Shall let you all know if it was any trouble when the time comes.
