During a recent masturbation session I noticed a distinct "bottleneck" area just below the glans.  I could not become erect in this area.  I have experienced some pain on and off for some time, but I've dismissed it as a consequence of frequent and excessive masturbation.

Does this strike any readers as possible Peyronies, or might it be an effect of excessive masturbation that will diminish if I stop for a time?

I do not believe I have a lump or evidence of plaque at this time; however, I do not have any training in the area.

I am 41, in a long distance relationship.  When with my partner this has never been as issue.

Would you advice seeking an examination and diagnosis?

Needless to say I am feeling extremely distressed over the possibility that I might have this ailment and I'd be grateful for anyone's input.  If I haven't provided the right information please prompt me.

Thank-you.

Doilor, if you have a bottleneck, it could indeed be Peyronie's, but yes, you do need to have an examination by a urologist.

If you can't feel any sort of lump or hardened tissue when you're flaccid, then you might want to take a picture of your erection to show the urologist.  Sometimes a plaque is not bale to be felt with Peyronies Disease, but most of the time it is.

I'm afraid no one here can ease your mind that it's NOT Peyronie's, but neither can we confirm that is IS.  You need to see a urologist to get to the bottom of it, I'm sorry to say.

Thank-you.  This is quite sudden and I've never experienced anything like it so you can imagine my distress.

If am hoping if I just take it easy it will go away.  In the mean-time however I will seek a consultation.  I'll refer to the information on this board vis a vis what to seek out.
