Hey guys,
I'm angry, frustrated and depressed and I keep asking myself "why me". I've lost the will to live and if I was a weaker person I wouldn't be around much longer. I'm not coping with the fact I have Peryoines and knowing I'll have it for the rest of my life. I always been a strong person in life and fought through many adversities.....but I'm now at the lowest point in my life (mentally). I need serious help but don't know where to begin. I need your help guys to stay strong please!!!

Angpin,

You will find several here who have overcome Peyronies. There are many therapies and treatments discussed here, including discussion on the mental impact this can have on someone. A good place to start is here:

Hang in there,
There is always hope.   I am new to this forum but have had Peyronies Disease for 6 years, your life WILL find its equilibrium.  Remember you have lots within you to offer others, you have great value.   you need to keep telling yourself that.
I'll say a prayer tonight

I think anyone hit by this disease is/had asking himself "why me?"
In any age, any timing, it is always the question "why me?"
And have many success stories, full or partial fighting this disease.
Just don't give up and be proactive and do that now, not later to fight this disease.

Angpin,

This is a bad hand to be dealt, no doubt about it, partner. But remember that smooth seas don't make good sailors; we all have to stare down a few storms and this one is yours, and mine and the same shared by many other men on this forum. It won't always be this bad, I can you promise you that.

As for my own story: I got on pentox and my pain went away in a matter of weeks. In a matter of months I saw improvements to my deformity and it has now been years and I am 90%-95% of my pre-Peyronie's appearance. It's not ideal, but I can deal with it.

You can deal with it, too. PM any one of us and we'll be glad to chat with you. Hang in there.

Guys, I really appreciate your words of support and I'm hanging in there (just). I really need to find something, anything that gives me a sign of improvement....even a small sign which will give me hope!

This is my story and I'm open to any suggestions please!

Hey Guys,
My name is Ang from Australia and have been diagnosed with Peyronies about 5 months ago. My urologist is quite a novice and has prescribed me 5mg Cialis daily and Colchicine 500mcg daily. I'm also taking Vitamin E, Ubiquinol and using VED daily without any results. I feel I'm not only not improving, but getting worse. Psychologically I'm not coping at all. I have lost about 2 inches in length and about 1 inch in girth, and I have about a 40% bend....even with all the medication. I find it difficult to have a hard erection, and if I do manage to get one, I can't sustain it due to leakage. My sex life is non existent! I'm about to try to get my hands on some Pobata and Accolate, hoping that this new medication might help. I'm glad I found this forum but reading everyone's story depresses me because no one has had any real success with anything they've tried, everyone has just learned to live with this dreaded disease. Guys I'm open to any and all suggestions....have medical insurance and the funds just need a cure. Please don't hesitate to email me if you have something that may help me, because I'll try anything. Thanks for listening to my story and I'm looking forward to hearing from some of the "wiser" heads on this wonderful (yet depressing) forum.
Kind regards Ang

At just 5 months you are still in the acute phase.  The VED does work but it takes time. If you follow the single cylinder exercise posted on the VED board it will help, slow but it will help. You have to be dedicated and do it every day.

Have you tried daily cialis? A lot of guys report good results with it along with the VED exercise.  Don't give up on sex, you can use the constriction ring to maintain your erection.  Also there are more ways to have sex than intercourse. Use your brain and try to experiment.

Once the plaque stabilizes you man want to be checked for venous leakage if you still have ED.

Just hang in there. There is hope and help.
