I have found great comfort in all of the knowledge about Peyronies Disease that everyone has shared.  I have been so depressed about my diagnosis that it has been hard to keep my head up. Hopefully time and research will find a cure for this. I never want my son or anyone else to have to go through this. I have been taking all of the otc supplements that I have resd about for 3 months and the tough strands of plaque arestarting to be less pronounced.  I dont think my size will return. Does anyone know one way or the other if with time it will?

Left alone, the size will probably not return to what it once was. Your best bet for regaining size is to use a VED. It may never get you back where you were, but it will help. There is a good section on VED and its use.

I took pentox for 8 months and it has been 3 years since I stopped taking it. In that time, my hourglassing and loss of size has improved significantly. I was going through my old files recently and saw a photo I had to take of myself 4 years ago for a specialist urologist when I was first diagnosed and my symptoms were at their worst; I had significant shrinkage and hourglassing in that pic. I look very different now and am about 90%-95% of what I used to be in regards to size and appearance. This improvement is likely due to taking pentox in the acute stage of the disease as well as adopting healthier life habits. It also probably helped that I am in my 30s.

I am considering posting before and after pics to the improvement section.

In short (no pun intended), getting on the right meds and using therapies like VED and traction can help return lost size. This takes considerable time to do so and is measured in months and years, not days or weeks.

Good luck,
