Hello all,
I am an active 66 year old retired business professional. i was diagnosed with Peyronies (curvature to left) several years ago and shortly after that with E.D.. The E.D. is compounded by medication and aging.  I've been to several Urologist's and tried everything from oral medication (Viagra, Cialis, etc), papaverine injections and Muse (outcome was mixed and not desirable). I was finally prescribed a Vacuum pump which was difficult to use, again with less than a desirable outcome. I've been unable to have intercourse with my wife for over 15 years, I'm lucky to have an understanding wife. Fortunately for me I can masturbate my flaccid penis with the help of a vibrator/massage device  but this is unacceptable to me......what can I do?

Yours is a tough situation there. I'm sorry you got hit with all this, but glad you found this forum. Start by reading the Must Read document to get a crash course on what we are all about here. Then I would ask, have you considered a surgical implant? That is never the first choice, but can sometimes be the best and fastest course to take. There are guys here who can give you advice on that. If that is not an alternative for you, then I suggest a PAV cocktail and the pump. You say the pump was difficult to use. In what way? Short of surgery, there is no quick fix for what we have. You will have to devote some time to learning the pump and allowing the medicines to work. At our age, time is not a friend. I would encourage you to get in touch with Jackp, a long time member here. Also, the Old Man is our resident expert on the pump.

jtravis2:

Just read your post and Norm's answer to you about your problem using the VED. I am considered the ''go to guy'' on the forum for assistance with VED problems and usage.

If you will, give me your history with using the VED with as many details of how you are using it and the specific problem you are having with it. In addition, I will need to know which make and model VED you have = one cylinder or three cylinder, etc.

Once I have your information we can most likely develop a new procedure for you. There are many ways that a VED can be used to achieve erections.

I just turned 84 in September and by using the VED and restrictor rings I can achieve a very firm erection suitable for sex. My wife of 50 plus years is the only problem I have with having sex since she has had a ''female'' operation in the past few years. She has to be feeling well and not having a problem ''down there'' to do it though!! 8) 8)

Best regards to you and look forward to hearing from you soon. BTW, all of the private messages (PMs) are just that, private between only the sender and receiver. Therefore, our conversations are strictly private!!

BTW: I am called the Old Man on the forum just because I am as far as I know the oldest member there.

You have waited far too long. 15 years is a very long time.
Send a PM to Old Man (or post on your topic) and explain why you can't use the VED. Old Man is our expert on the subject and he may give you some good advice's.
By the end, if you will not succeed with the VED, you still have the implant option.

jtravis2- Definitely get a hold of Old Man. There is no reason you can't enjoy some kind of sex with the VED. That's the only way I can get it, and it's 4 years that way. Regards Inkhorn
