First time posting. I am 56 years old and have had peyronies for about 3 years. I don't have much of a bend, but I do have an deeply indented area at about mid shaft. It is more on the left. It makes for a very painful erection and intercourse. It also acts like a hinge, that will bend if I am not careful. I get very hard up to the indent, then barely hard after. I tried colchicine once, but that did not do anything. My doctor seems uninterested.
I was hoping to try Xiaflex when it gets approved, but was bummed to find out today, that FDA approval is again delayed, this time until December 6, 2013.

I split your post from the topic you posted in, you will get more attention having your own topic.
First I am proposing you to read the link bellow if not read already:
MUST READ BEFORE YOU POST - Information for new members - Peyronies Society Forums
If your main issue is painful erection and intercourse, I would advise you to start with Pentox as soon as you can.
It helped and helps many with pain and not just pain.
Have a few topics regarding Pentox at the "Oral Treatments" board and many additional posts on "Introduce Yourself" board.
