I am 63 and have had the condition about 5 years now - for a few years I had no idea what had happened to me.  I felt some pain during intercourse but did not seem to notice that my penis was starting to curve. After a year or so the pain stopped, then I started to notice that I was curving and about an inch shorter.  It wasn't until I investigated on line that I started to realize the problem.
My wife all of a sudden found out she had ovarian cancer - immediate surgery followed - and sex relations between us stopped.  Six months later, I tried to resume intercourse with her and we found out it was too painful for her.  Another six months went by and I told my primary doctor of my symptoms.  Took a photo of myself in and was diagnosed with the what I suspected. The condition seems to have stabilized, although it is fairly severe bend to the left and up.  I have lost a full inch off my length and have gone without sex for around 18 months.

vikingspirit,
Welcome to the forum but sorry you have become a member due to Peyronies. I can tell you that you are among friends here who are willing to share and listen. And it seems that in your case both you and your wife are dealing with separate issues. You will find a lot of information here and suggest you start with the following:
