I hope this is the right place for this question
I believe my husband has this problem. He can get an erection without pain but it is bent upwards at about a 45 deg angle.  I also believe since this has happened he has gotten shorter in length. He never was very long and now his erection is less than 5 inches. He jokes about it with me and I know he wants to do something about it but is afraid to talk to anybody, so that's why Im here.  He is now 70 and Im 61.  Ive had a hip replacement and as a result am not very flexible.  He has had several back surgeries and also not very flexible. He is a very horny man and loves to be with me whenever we can.  When ever we try to have sex I just cant get him in me.  I believe its the angle of his penis that is the cause of our problem. He says we just need to experiment to find the right position for both of us. Most of the time after a few tries he becomes discouraged and  goes soft and then its impossible. Then the only thing I can do for him is masturbation but this is hard on me as I cannot physically keep it going so than he has to finish.  We are both fairly heavy me under 180# and him in the low 200s. We need help --- as I know he has turned to porno on the internet when he stays up late at night after I go to bed.  Does anybody have any suggestions for us??? :(

Hi Pearly,

You are in the right place and welcome to the forum. You are a wonderful wife for searching for ways to help your husband and improve your sex life. You will find lots of help and advice here. There is also a Women Only section on this forum where you can discuss Peyronie's issues with other women dealing with the effects of this disease. A moderator may contact you about how to access the Women Only section. I'll separate my response into 2 parts for easy reading:

Peyronie's treatment:
You husband should go to a urologist to confirm a Peyronie's diagnosis. If he does have Peyronie's, I suggest requesting a prescription for a drug called pentoxyfylline (commercial name Trental). It is not a cure, but the drug has been proven to shrink scar tissue (scar tissue in the penis is what causes bending and pain) and possibly encourage healing. Erection drugs like Cialis and Viagra have also been shown to prevent the growth of scar tissue, and they work well in conjunction with Pentoxyfylline.  In addition, your husband may want to try VED, or vacuum erection device. There is a lot of information here on VEDs: Vacuum Erection Devices (VEDs) for Peyronie's Disease - PDS - Peyronies Society Forums

The sex issue:
My urologist recommended using lots of lubrication (such as KY or Astro Glide) to help deal with the "bend" issue. There is also a position called the "t-shaped position" which tends to work well for insertion issues since the man can lie down on either the left or right side, depending on the bend. It is also a great position for people who are a little larger. There is a drawing of that position (the second picture) located here: Spooning Positions - Great Sex

If your husband is willing to browse the forum, we would certainly welcome him here. There is plenty of information for both of you.

Best of luck,

Skjaldborg
