im supposed to introduce myself I guess, im HALFTHEMAN I used to be, I was diagnosed about 5 years ago, doc said yep , u got peyronies disease alright, he said , the deal is, a 1/3 of the men stay the same, a 1/3 of the men get better, and the other 1/3 get worse, he said there really isn't any cure but u should take vitiam E, I did, stayed the same for a good while, and I was staying majorally sexually active, trying to satisfy up to 3 woman, which none of them really knew about the others, but anyway,i was abusing  myself pretty regular, then one December weekend I went on a deer hunting trip with my wife and low and behold, I had a heart attack , had a stent put in my heart, and that made me slow down sexually, some time passed and it seamed that my peyronies wasn't staying the same, it was getting a little worse, starting to get a bigger dent in the base of the shaft, still functional, no pain, but,i was getting worried, then a little time passed and low and behold I got dianogist with cancer at 42, chemo and raditition,, not pleasant, during the chemo part of my life, my wife and I decided it was time for divorce, so during the last rounds of chemo , I was stressed out to the max fighting to keep all my stuff,,not really having any sex by this time, cause everything was getting to be to much, so the old saying, if you don't use it, you will lose it, well , it snuck up on me and the peyronies, really took a toll on my manhood, I really didn't get a bend in the shaft, the scare tissue actually went completely around the base of the penis, and how that has affected my penis is that the 2 inches of the base will not fill up like it should and it doesn't allow me any lift anymore, and during this time I shrank so much that omg, it looks pitafull, , ive lost over 1/2 the length and 1/2 the girth, im embarrassed to show it to my girlfriend, she still likes it but I really hesitate to use that little thing,i really didn't think that I would go into a type of depression, but im there, ive looked at some sites online about peyronies and depression, and the hit me about perfect, WOW, I GUESS im depressed, my relationship was goin south, and im glad I started lookin cause I was able to save my relationship by realizing I hada  problem, we have discussed how we are going to survive this devastating disease, at age 46 and losing my love wand is really bad, im sure this could become suicidial to some people, but not me, but for a guy like me that was so sexually active all of my life to turn out like this is a crushing blow to my sole, the part of these drs not knowing what can be  done is terrible, ive even went to a specialist and his advice wasn't encourageing either, but in my research yesterday I was looking thru YOUTUBE and I thought I would look up peyronies  again and I saw something very interesting have any of you guys ever heard of a injection drug called XIAFLEX  by Auxillium pharmaceuticals, this drug has  been a wonder  drug for a tendins in the hand and they tried it on peyronies and it seems to be most effective, so the drug company is waiting for  approval from the FDA,they are expecting the approval in September 2013, im hoping that this drug will break up the scar tissue and let the blood flow thru my manhood again, I can only wish and hope, but I was looking thru ur site and didn't see anything about this new drug, maybe it can be helpful to some other people out there, look into it,,,,its called Xiaflex

There are others here far more knowledgable than I about xiaflex. However, I understand that should it win approval it will not be cheap.

In the meantime, yes you must start increasing blood flow to the Penis. It is vital. Given your medical history you should check with doctor before taking anything. Read all you can here about Pentox, ALC, CoQ10, Cialis - you will find all the information about these on the site. Certainly, with your doctor's  O.K., you should start taking Pentox ASAP.

I never heard of these other drugs, the 2 different drs never told me about anything, basically said I was a lost cause, imagine how I felt?, ya know, im a customer to these drs, and they didn't do anything to slightly help me,and my insurance paid them good money to ask a few questions and walk out of the room leaving me feeling hopeless and lost. and thinking my wonderful sexual life was over,it still mite be but I mite of been able to do more if I knew more, im just curious, isn't that what that dr is supposed to do for me? well , I just have to do the best I can, and hope this new drug will perform< so this Pentox, what is it and do I have to get a script from urologist or can family dr prescribe,, thanks for the help

That will tell you the very first things you should do    It is not a document you should just read over.  You need to read and ponder everything in it so you know where you are, what you can do to help, and where you go from here.

Concerning Xiaflex, yes we have heard of it.   I don't think it is presumptuous of me to say we have no doubt heard of every legitimate and every bogus treatment of Peyronies Disease on the planet.  We have followed the development of Xiaflex for ten years when it was originally under another name and owned by another company.

We will talk more after you read your homework assignment.

I could swear that I read it all 3 times last nite b4 I finally tried to introduce myself, let me tell you, I couldn't figure out how to get my introduction in the correct spot, it mite be me, but I spent a few hrs reading and navigating around try to find the right spot, so I guess I missed the spot?   I will try to read it now.....................I went back and read a bunch, just tried to get to the spot to write the intro  and the site wont let me get there, but its my computer skills, I need a map I think
