Not sure where to start.  I use to be a big swinging dick but now I have days that I have to look to find it.  I don't understand this disease.  7 years ago I went to my doctor said I found a lump, very small on the side of my shaft about 1/3 to 1/2 way down from the base.  I thought it was a hard vein but asked if he could verify, he sent me to the urologist, the urologist sent me to the special urologist (Dr. Gerald Jordan).  I was diagnosed with peyronies disease.  I later started to see the hour glass shape but no curve.  Truthfully I have rarely ever seen a curve.  The hour glass is gone but so has my full erection.  I only get about half of what I use too. Now there is what feels like a cord running down the one side, same side as the lump.  Some days I can stretch myself a good 6-7 inches other days I might get lucky to get 4.  Same for the cord its there on the days I can only get 4 and hardly noticeable on the days I get 6 or more.  I have been reading other post on here and see that several of you have been put on lots of different treatments.  Dr J gave me vitamin E and L-carnitine, thats it.  If anyone knows of a good urologist in the northern VA area, please let me know, I could really use some help with this.  I feel really depressed at times. My wife is great but I feel like I am not fulfilling her need.  Thanks for reading.

Is there a list of doctors that participated in the testing of the new Xaiflex (sp?)?  I would like to find one on the east coast close to or in VA.  I do not have a standard urologist and wonder if I need to find one to see on a regular basis or do you guys only go once or twice a year?  I have read several post on here, normally on treatments.  I have to be careful of what I take do to an issue with my aortic valve.  I can't take anything that will thin the blood. Thanks for any advice you may have to offer and I hope we all get lucky with a magic cure in a bottle soon.

I was diagnosised 7-8 years ago by Dr Gerald Jordan, who has since retired, and I was wonder two things.
1. What are you allowed to do during treatment, as my wife and I have a healthy sexlife and I'm stressed the injections could impact it but I dint think they could be any worse than the 2 inches in length that I've lost plus girth.

2.  Is there anyone on the forum who has a recommendation for a doc near northern Virginia?  I looked a the list a saw one in Richmond but looked like know one had seen him.
Thanks and best of luck to all with this new treatment.

If you want any details on my condition just ask. It has caused me some depression but I have a GREAT wife very supportive.
