Hi there,

I want to introduce myself and hopefully gain some guidance through this.

I am 26 years old with a curvature to the left. This is not my concern however.

4 years ago while attempting to have sex for the first time I had trouble getting erect enough for penetration and thought that this had to do with the curvature. I visited a uro shortly after who had a look at a picture of my erection of which he confirmed that I did have some curvature and showed me the nesbit procedure but recommend that I wait things out.

I was very distraught after this as I thought there had to be a solution. I thought that my ED may have been caused by nerves of my first time but fast forward a few years and was still having some troubles. Most of my physical interactions with women have been under the influence of alcohol and/or marijuana so I thought that could be causing the whisky dick. I visited another uro 2 years ago who recommended cialis. I was very embarrassed a never tried it.

I have noticed over the years that I have a very enlarged vein and it becomes very swollen, painful and inflamed around the base area. I am not sure if this is the scar tissue or thrombophlebitis. The thing that I feel is different that the typical case of peyronies is my left side of my penis has almost a growth underneath the skin. I am not sure if this is plaque or is being caused by the vein. It can just as very easily be felt when flacid. Pain when flacid. Also I have the same amount of curvature and pain when flacid as erect.

I tried to have intercourse a couple weeks ago and the left side of my penis is even more enlarged with more pain when flacid. My penis was not able to get fully erect for penetration. I am able to masturbate fine and do so a lot but only achieve a soft erection that is curved left. My curvature does not seem to be so extreme that I wouldn't be able to penetrate but the vein seems to be causing my ED. It is like my penis cannot be supported as too much pressure is on the base and it gives out or buckles.

My problem is at the left base of the penis that gives out. Ive looked up wasting and hourglass but mine is like the opposite where it is a growth of scar tissue instead of a dent.

Do most people with peyronies have a large pronounced vein when flacid?
Can the scar tissue be felt easily when flacid?
Do guys have the same curvature as flacid as when erect?

Any advice or helps for next steps are appreciated.

Next step its an ultrasound/doppler that should be sent and read by a specialist. I am in that phase, waiting for the slowwwwwwww medical system here to call me for the test. They will very probably dont know how to treat your problem but at least they will tell you with the results if you have a thrombosed vein, scar tissue or any other thing. So set up an appointement and get a prescription for Pentox and an ultrasound. Check out my thread for info on thrombophlebitis. If you have those cord-like bumps and bulged veins you have thrombophlebitis in the penile veins. I am writing this with penis pain ;D but Pentox really seems to help.

Sorry to hear about your ED problems at a young age.
I will try to answer to your questions but first of all you have to see a competent uro. It is strange that your uro, basing himself on the pictures proposing you the Nesbit procedure :(
To know if you have Peyronies the doctor will make a physical examination and an ultrasound in flaccid.
To check if you have venous leekage that causes ED he will make you an ultrasound with induced erection.
The treatment will be different for ED with or without Peyronies.
I don't understand why you should be embarrassed to use Cialis or Viagra. You don't have to announce that in the news paper. Just give it a try and see if it helps. Your ED can have many reasons but taking those medications will give you a guide. You can begin from a small dose (like 25mg/50mg Viagra or 5mg/10mg Cialis).
Regarding ED, excessive alcohol and/or marijuana are indeed a main factor.

QuoteDo most people with peyronies have a large pronounced vein when flaccid?
Some yes, some no.
QuoteCan the scar tissue be felt easily when flaccid?
In my case yes, many other people says yes also.
QuoteDo guys have the same curvature as flaccid as when erect?
The answer in my case is yes, but in flaccid is more difficult to see because it is soft.
