I'm 52, married (26 years) and have been  living in the Atlanta area all my life.  I'm getting more frustrated every day! I've had Peyronies Disease for over a year that appeared out of the blue. I just had my first urology visit 2 weeks ago and still have more questions than ever. I'll start with this; who's been treated for Peyronies Disease, what type of treatment, did it work and how pleased are you with the results?

The age range for peyronies can be between 18 years of age up to 70 or more. It does not discriminate. Now a penile fracture is not necessarily peyronies. Peyronies is when your healing mechanism in your body goes into overdrive and causes severe scar tissue in your penis.

Most urologists are not educated or trained to treat it. The usual course of treatment is to use traction and VED therapy. Yes it does work in most patients. Then Cialis or tadalafil is prescribed to help with healing and promoting good erections. Most men are pleased with their results and some men will resort for an implant if it is warranted.
Each case is different but they all share on common problem - worrying and anxiety. You just need to read the forum and educate yourself. Get a plan of action and a new Dr if you need one. Welcome again!
