Firstly, thank you all for your contributions. I'm new and wish I'd joined this forum when I first injured myself in Aug 2021.

I'm 28 years old and teetering between a state of being solution oriented and deeply depressed/ suicidal. In march of 2021 I noticed a small segment of a circumflex vein bulging after masturbation and intercourse. It wasn't painful but there seemed to be some general penile aching with worsening upward angulation. I proceeded without caution after a GP visit in which I was reassured that it was nothing to worry about.

By late April I started to date my current girlfriend. We engaged in frequent poorly lubricated anal sex and naturally this exacerbated the issue, slightly. In late June I suffered a gutting trauma. She squeezed the living sh*t out of my member while bending it forward, with her hand obviously. No detumescene just throbbing pain, redness and I now had two bulging and throbbing circumflex veins on the upper third of my shaft beneath the glans. Being a master of denial and glutton for punishment.... I continued to have sex the next morning.

For thd next two weeks I was waking up with the top half of my shaft floppy at 9ODEG to the bottom half which was rock hard!!

Finally I visit an A&E where I recieved an MRI. No fracture, apparently venous damage that should heal with a few weeks rest.

So I chilled for a few months, light masturbation. Some improvement. Still getting rock hard but with very noticable discomfort and these extremely pronounced circumflex veins. Stupidly I started having sex again. ANAL and all. Months of this and some careless drink and drug fueled sessions that surely set me back months.

I've seen an andro, rough and obnoxious. Initially diagnosed me with mondors.

So my last visit to him was this last friday. Basically he doesn't have a F^@$!ng clue of what to do and suggests "living a normal life as much as possible". F**k right off. I've done that and I'm so much worse for it. Stretched the sh*t out of my flaccid and left me in the worst pain I've felt since my initial trauma. Given up on him entirely.

So, I've a curve of about 30 to the left. My d*ck points up at 80 and makes sex extremely uncomfortable daunting and probably quite damaging. My semis are unstable, feels like the left side doesnt quite have the blood flow of the right. I suffer from frequent hard flaccid, urinary discomfort and extremely reduced and warety ejaculate with very low force. I still have these bulging aching circumflex veins and I'm sure I can feel the left dorsal artery hardened and inflamed.

I can still get very hard, my glans sometimes remains soft. I often remain erect long after intercourse and maaan does it hurt.

So nearly 18 months in and I'm tired of the self neglect and suicidal ideation. Tired of my crappy emotionally handicapped andro. I'm mostly sober and intent on making some major life changes. My partner is my world and she's incredibly supportive, I owe her this change and dedication to progress in all aspects of my life.

I need help with this injury, the stories I've read here are both terrifying and inspiring.

Where do I go from here? I'm pretty much abstinent from penetrative222 sex and masturbation rn so that's a start I suppose. Thinking of visiting a GP to get my hormones checked and a vascular surgeon to seek an ultrasound and perhaps some kind of surgical intervention. Thank you so much for this forum.

Hey man, welcome aboard.

You had an MRI that ruled out a fracture. That's great. Not really sure why you would have pain if there was no fracture. But as for your erection issues... have you tried erection medications? How did that work out for you?

If your curve is still fine besides the pain, in that you can have sex with it, then doctors advise to try conservative therapy as surgery always carries risk. Traction therapy might help you and combining that with some oral medications may improve your pain.

Please read the survival guide, update your signature to best describe your condition and stick with us. There is plenty to learn.

I am so sorry for what you have been through. I strongly suggest you go to an excellent urologist that specializes in implants. They can do testing to determine how they can help you. I had to go to 5 different urologists about my problems to find one that even mentioned an implant. It's sad how some urologists are so poorly trained. The first two urologists prescribed useless pills. The 3rd told me to wait a year. The 4th told me it wasn't that bad and to take more viagra and injections. What a mess!
Please find a quality urologist that does lots of implants, as they can provide you with options.
