Hi all,

I am 21 and had a painful trauma happen to my penis during a one night stand a month ago. It happened soon after we switched to her being on top, facing me. My penis naturally bends down at about half way and to the left very slightly. Keep in mind, this girl was much shorter than me. Basically, she wasn't experienced and was moving recklessly. I slipped out, or she pressed forward and down when I was slightly in. My dick bent downward sharply around half way underneath the weight of her pubic bone. There may have been a pop, but it only felt like a 6/10 pain at the time, and I was able to continue and finish 5-10 minutes later. About a week later I noticed my erections felt weaker and looked off, and pain. Now a month later, I am in constant pain most of the day, waking up, Peeing, sometimes with arousal. I find it hard to sleep, and worry I'm getting injured even more with night erections. I can only masturbate very lightly with lube, forcing it any direction hurts, and I have pain afterwards I've never had. My erections are also different, I feel more of a down bend and the left side/ underneath feels rough and like I lost girth. The pain and deformity only seem to be increasing, with a new indent on the top bottom half on the left side.

The first doctor I saw 2 weeks after it happened told me to get pycnogenol, propionyl-l-carnitine, and a tumeric extract but said he doesn't think I have peyronies(although I have a strong sense I'm in the acute phase). The second doctor I saw said I may or may not have scarring, and told me to revisit in 3 months and he would consider giving xiaflex injections which I am terrified of. If it makes any difference, I eat healthy and work out a lot already, am in very good physical shape. I have also been using warm compresses and taking warm baths sinse. I am also seeing another urologist on Thursday. Any suggestions on treatment or ways of mentally dealing with this would be appreciated, as this has made me very stressed and hopeless feeling. Thanks

Hello Vlones. The symptoms you describe are very very similar to those of a classical penile fracture. It doesn't mean that you will have the classical hematoma or bruising in your scrotom. But you still can be left with Erectile Dysfunction and other comorbities.

You have to let your fracture heal. Stop all masturbation, medication and sexual contact for the next 6 weeks. Can you get access to a proper urologist or a ndrologist? After you let this heal, get an ultrasound done by a proper technician to get a diagnosis so you know exactly what you have so you can establish a treatment protocol!

I have been there to where you are.... this thing can take it's toll mentally.. you have to be very strong about it. We can talk by voice, anonymously if you prefer as well.

We are here to help

Hi Pfract, neither of the the 2 urologist I've seen were able to notice signs of a fracture, but maybe there's a chance it went unnoticed. I'm gonna take your advice on stopping all activity. The urologist I'm seeing Thursday will hopefully give an ultrasound/imaging and be able to get a better understanding of what's going on. I appreciate the support and will reach out as soon as I have updates.

What is clear is that you had a physical injury.  Like any injury, there is pain, inflammation, and healing which might include scar tissue.  That is NOT Peyronies Disease. It is the natural healing process.  The first response you got should have included the following information.

You should study all sections of this guide for several reasons, including gaining a grasp of the different aspects of Peyronies Disease to understand the terminology and how to frame questions. LINK -->https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.0.html

Also, we can only help when we can recall the details of your case, so it is essential to fill in your signature line.

Do NOT do anything to your penis you would not do to a sprained ankle.  Do NOT use it or massage it.  Any anti-inflammatory supplement, medication, or diet is most likely to help at this stage.

Erections could be weaker for a host of reasons but do not dwell on that at this point.  That is likely to improve.   If you have a clear bend, then the one exception to the above information is the use of traction.  It will likely prolong healing but reduce the deformity.  If you have no new obvious deformity, then forget traction.

Good luck

Welcome Viones to the forum. You have been given good advice. Keep exercising and eating healthy. Supplements can help and surely wont harm you. You are young and should heal quicker than us older gents here.  You may just have an injury that needs to heal and you should leave things alone.  I know heat therapy helped me when I was having a painful time. Keep reading and studying the forum as this will educate you more on peyronies. You need to be more informed about peyronies and definitely make a list of questions to ask your Dr.  Talking about it here can be a great help emotionally.  :)  Mikel7

Thanks Hawk and Mikel for the advice and words of encouragement. These next few weeks/months will be very difficult for me, as I have been using sex as a crutch to get over my ex who I decided to end things with because she transfer universities more than a few hours away. I still miss her every day and didn't plan on ending things the way they did, what we had really felt like love. She made me feel very guilty for ending things despite her wanting to do long distance, and it almost seems like this is what I get for not processing my emotions properly. I worry that my sex life might never be the same after this, and although sex isn't everything, my confidence to date and get back out there is completely gone.

Anyways, I am trying to find strategies to help cope with this 'perfect storm' if you will of bad events. I recognize that stress is my enemy, however I can't ignore how rapidly I have lost things in my life that used to bring me joy. I just want to wake up and feel like there's something I have to look forward to, and not just endless school/work with no personal reward. I worry about everything too damn much, and uncertainty around my dick and future lovers is just unbearable. I'm not sure if I should go on some kind of anxiety medication, or if I just need to find some new hobbies. Either way, what I need right now is guidance, as I notice I am not good with free time and absence of discipline.

Yeah.... i heard the same many many times, until i had a confirmation finally. You HAVE to let it heal. HAVE TO. Then, you start thinking about your next steps.

Very good advice here. You caught this early, let it heal and see what happens.
Keep any amount of manipulation to an absolute minimum (Easier said than done, but I sure wish I did so from start!).

Picking up a new hobby for distraction might not be the worst idea.

Also, since it hasnt been said: Take measurements of length, girth, curve, etc. and write them down
Your mind will be playing tricks on you and this will help.

I highly recommend the meditation link found in this post LINK--> https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,13846.0.html

Meditation is very effective in learning how to let unproductive thoughts pass by instead of recycling them.

After seeing the urologist yesterday, he prescribed me 2.5 mg cialis daily as well as 400 mg pentox 3x daily. Did not mention peyronies or any noticeable plaque from physical.

He also did this sensation test with a little vibration machine w a gun like thing, don't known if it means anything but my sensitivity was the same for my finder, shaft, and tip. (like what)

For my injury, knowing that I have been feeling harder to maintain/less full erections and some pain, should I start taking both of these right away?

He also recommended vitamin E.

Does it sound like this could just be to treat the injury, or does getting prescribed cialis/pentox mean this might be more serious/ongoing? (Like I'll feel the need to take cialis, or this possibly developing into peyronies)

Either way I'm planning on abstaining completely for another 3-4 weeks or until the pain goes away. Going to try and stay positive, in the gym, and fill my time with less thoughts about sex.

Be positive and stay healthy and active.  The Cialis/pentox could very well help you out - I would give it a try. Cialis does have the ability to calm down inflammation and bring fresh oxygenated blood into your penis.  Vitamin E will also not hurt you, I also take this. It sounds like your sensation test was good.  Try to stop worrying and do give things a rest.
