Hi everyone,
I am new to the this forum and here is my story. Looking for any advice.

About 13 months ago, age 26 I injured my penis while having sex with my gf. We were both drunk, she was on top and we missed. No popping or severe pain. We continued to have sex. The next day I felt soreness and a lump. A month passes and pain continues along with a divot on the right side of my penis. We start the path of seeing doctors a specialists. My primary care doctor did an ultrasound with findings of a plaque. We saw the first urologist who said you have Peyronie's disease and all you can do is just monitor. My girlfriend is a nurse so she didn't take that as an option. She was able to get me in to see Dr. Hunter Wessels in Seattle. Detail exam, another ultrasound and recommendations of pentox for 3 months the a follow up. During this time I did not have sex with my gf and my psychological stress increased.

Fast forward to today, 13 month from the injury and I have a significant narrowing on the right side, 20% curve, along with pain/soreness. I'll have to admit I wasn't very good with taking the Pentox due to side affects of dizziness and nausea. Since my penis is still changing and causing pain, dr. Wessels recommended xiaflex or surgery (grafting). I currently said no to these options after finding this forum. My next steps are to try restorx Traction and VED with pentox. I am currently still with my girlfriend and she's very supportive, but we do not have as much sex as I know she would like. To me it feels like I have a weak spot and I am afraid of making it worst.

Summary:
Injury to penis while having sex about 13 months ago. 20% curve, narrowing, and pain with erection.
Narrowing and pain recently worse.
Tried pentox and colchicine intermittently.
Avoid sex, blow jobs instead.
Will try restorx traction and VED

Questions:
How long did you guys feel pain for after an injury?
Should I be trying anything else during this time?
Any success stories after a situation like this?
27 yrs, 03/2020, pain, right side narrowing, 20 degree bend, tried pentox & colchicine. Symptoms worsening. Committed partner.

Hey man,

welcome to the forum and good to read, that you're already thinking about the correct options.
I don't know mich about Xiaflex, because it's in Germany not available. Surgery should be the last option and only, if the disease is stable for a long time. For me it was and is still no option  :)

Answers to your questions

The pain went away after ~5 months, but I feel sometimes a bit of pain after sex and traction, but not always.
I have noticed improvements with a multimodal treatment (combination of the highly recommended non invasive treatment options).
My penis is nearly straight, I have good erections again and can have normal sex again  :) You have to be patient and gentle.

There is no quick fix, unfortunately.  I would do your research while you are progressing through the active phase.  You should look at non-invasive treatments first, traction (RestoreX or other good device), VED, and supplements.  Lastly, be very careful with any invasive treatments while you are in the active phase, and yes this is includes Xiaflex.   After 2 years, I am finally near the end of my process.  I had plication surgery 52 days ago and am straight as an arrow again.  But I didn't get here over night.

Stay away from hirudoid and any alternative treatments.

Traction, VED, supplements/meds in survival guide and most importantly REST for your dick. That's it. And possibly xiaflex if needed down the line.

Do not overdo it. Dont check your dick all day and obsess. Love your life like normal. Quit masturbating if you have someone to bang. Be smart.
35 yo. 35 degree bend left. Major ED now because of hirudoud cream. Take the supps/meds in survival guide.

Pfract

ngiusti707: I would risk to say that you had a very minor penile fracture that ended up healing and leaving you with the symptoms you are describing. The "she was on top and missed" are the classical tell tale signs of it. That was a long time ago so everything concerning that injury has healed up and you have to manage whatever you are left to keep it stable.

Pentox and colchicine have no benefits. This has been dispelled has being a myth and there are medical papers disproving their efficacy. It has been discussed in the forum recently. Here is what Dr. Landon Trost's recommends as guidelines for treating peyronies:

If i was you i would schedule a video consultation with him. He would be one of the best to guide and treat you here if you really have peyronies. He is able to do Ultrasound, xiaflex and guide you with restorex.

If you do need to have other treatments such as implant or surgery he is also able to direct you. Any other questions you may have we are here for you.
