So not sure how to begin, but im 18 and worried Ive finally managed to break my dick.
Since before I started having sex, I knew my dick was curved down decently like a banana and then since having sex at 16, Ive had several experiences with slight pain or discomfort during sex ever since. I have several memories of overly rough masturbation and also unfortunate dick injuries such as getting hit in my junk a lot as a kid that in hindsight seem worse now. Ive had experience worrying about peyronies before, because the bend has always had a pinch point but again since no ED I didnt really sweat it, not a severe curve. Recently, I met someone new and the sex has been great but intense and to my horror Ive noticed over the past week or so erections that didnt get hard all the way through, mostly just at the base of my dick. I also have had some experience with trying to force penetration recently which again I regret. Upon further inspection, I felt what seems to be a new band around the mid-end of the shaft and in my flaccid state there is an almost noticable hourglassing and I have some mild aches. Dont know if I should be freaked out as much as I am, and also if I can expect to be able to use ED meds to get a full erection, or if the plaque will permanently softened my glans and end of penis. Not too worried about curvature as it doesn't seem to be causing that, although Its still pretty early I guess. Any responses or really just words of hope would be appreciated, to be fair I do struggle a lot with anxiety and other mental things already, which probably dont help my erectile function. Im making a urologist appt soon, but Im just looking for some reassurance. Hope this finds all of you in excellent health!

Well, you've made the right decision to see a urologist. If he/she says it's Peyroines, it wouldn't hurt to get a second opinion from a Peyroines specialist. It's really kind of a super-specialty so you really need a top notch guy. Don't trust just one urologist, especially if he doesn't seem too interested in it. And make sure the guy does an ultrasound and doesn't just diagnose by palpating, prescribe Pentox and say bye.

There's only a handful of urologists who dedicate their whole practice to Peyroines so be sure you see one of them. Then you'll be sure you really have it, and what the best treatment options are. Peyroines is a terribly neglected area of urology. And it's horrible to have, and psychologically devastating.

The neglect of research into Peyroines is horrible.  It's scandalous really. The reason it's neglected is 1)it mainly affects middle aged men (usually  55-60) and no one gives a hoot in h@ll about the sexuality of older men (people are like "why do you care? You've got kids already".  That's how dumb people are; 2) it's benign so it will never kill you, and 3) it only affects 10, some say 13% of men, and only 10% of them are under 40, so some dummies think it's "rare". Rare? Did you know diabetes is less common in men than Peyroines? I just read that.

And, men get far less research into their medical problems than women. (Don't listen to Tony. He always freaks out when I say that,) but it's true. Women are complainers. I know my ex wife was. She doesn't even talk to me now.

Welcome Bob, I'd recommend you read the survival guide before seeing the urologist if you can.  That way you'll understand more of what they are saying and be able to ask good questions.  https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.msg44057.html#msg44057
