Hi guys, I'm 45 and started having symptoms 7 months ago. Like many of you, I freaked out and went from thinking I had a tumor to thinking that I broke the machinery. It didn't use to hurt at first, but now it does when there's an erection or if there's touch. Specially when I am asleep and it waked me up constantly. No curvature so far, but I guess I should expect that soon.

I went to see an urologists' when he diagnosed this, but he said there's pretty much nothing to do and the pain would eventually go away after the acute period.

Having read the boards, I am still not entirely sure if something can be done during this phase to make it less bad during the second phase. Anyway, stay healthy and thank you for having this resource.
Mid 40's and in the chronic phase - noticed it first in February 2020. At first there was no pain and just hourglass shape. Then the pain started. Two years later (almost 3), it still hurts sometimes, but it's not curved up, quite a bit.
