Hi all,
I just had my appointment with a Urologist and it is official that I am joining you in the ranks of people with Peyronie's.
I have a 40 degree upwards curve apparently and obvious plaques.
I was prescribed Cialis and advised to start using a pump,  so I'm going to look into pumps after work this evening.
Just wanted to say hi, and thank you for all of the advice on here which has been very useful.
Thanks
Noticed symptoms in January 2020, got diagnosis in February 2020, starting off with Cialis and VED.

I am also a new member. Diagnosed with Peyronies Disease 9 months ago and was seeing Dr. Lawrence Levine in Chicago who recommended surgery because he claimed I was not a good candidate for Xiaflex injections due to hourglass deformity. I had read Dr. Trost's from Mayo's study on  the effect of Xiaflex when used in conjunction with the Restorex traction device which in fact showed improvement in curvature for even hourglass deformities. I reached to Dr. Trost who now is Orem, Utah and just returned home from my first round of injections from him. i would note that Dr. Trost is the inventor of the Restorex traction device.

I am 55 years old with a 60 curve up and 35 to left with hourglass. i hope these injections work.

Many thanks Tony.
I read through. After doing so I wonder why the urologist didn't prescribe me with Pentox. I asked if there were any other drugs worth taking and she said no. I had gone to her as she specialises in Peyronies (I had suspected Peyronies after googling my symptoms). Maybe it is not a recognised treatment here in the UK.
On another note, she did recommended the SomaCorrect pump, which I have seen seems to have good reviews on this forum, so i have now ordered that.
Cheers

Pentox is not commonly used in some countries.  Def give the VED a try and if you can add low dose nightly Pde5i to remodel the plaque.
