Hi,

I have had multiple dents that have formed over the years and while trying to reverse them using VED I overpumped and have now have a lymphatic injury. There has been swelling under the glands for about 11 months now that has improved somewhat at times with rest. However everytime I get an erection the swelling worsens. I have seen a urologist multiple times and have used various steroid creams and antibiotics that have not helped. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on what to do to reduce inflammation and how long it will take to heal.

Thanks,

Hawk

Welcome to the forum Calgary,

I wish I could answer your question but this is outside of my scope of experience.  I was shocked when you said 11 months.  I was expecting this to be days or a couple of weeks at the most.  I am having trouble understanding how you could have inflammation last that long from an injury unless you have some Peyronies going on.

My only suggestion would be to do everything that reduces inflammation at once.  One thing at a time like a steroid creme obviously is not enough.  I would take an anti-inflammatory, go on an anti-inflammatory diet, maybe try cold compresses.

Maybe others have some ideas.

Hey man. Are you sure your urologist is knowledgeable on what he is saying? have you tried going to somebody else? considered going to the US to seek a second opinion?

I am 27 and have had peyronies for about 7 years now so that must be a contributing factor. I have used laser therapy and cold water for 3-5 minutes at a time which has helped. I was told that it's just an infection and as long as I take antibiotics and use a steroid cream the swelling will go down so I started masturbating again and that just made things worse. I'll be eating a ketogenic diet so hopefully that will help speed up the healing process.

I may eventually end up going to the states for another opinion. I've had many bad experiences with urologists here in Calgary. One urologist squeezed my penis hard enough to further damage it though so I don't have a lot of faith in urologists opinions being correct or having my best interests in my mind.
