I have curved penis due to injury during masturbation since adolescence where I felt pain for only 2 days then the pain subsided but I begin to have curved penis while erect. After that and for around 18 consecutive years I was having normal and hard erections, morning wood, etc.. everything was normal and without any pain. But only curved erections. Now I am in mid 30s and its been 2 years I feeling things started to change. I cant maintain my erection for long like I did earlier (at the age of 30 I could maintain it for one hour and at 25 I could do 4 times sex per day). Morning erections still exist but they are soft in the morning but hard during night. Random erections still exist but occasionally and also soft. So my question that is it peronies issues or normal part of aging and low testosterone issues. I am planning to visit a urologist but I m sharing my story and looking forward to have some ideas. Thx

Sounds like normal aging. None of what you describe sounds like peyronies. I'd recommend check with a general practitioner first and see if you can get on a proper diet and exercise regimen. But being able to hold erections is a good thing. Most men here who have Peyronies Disease have major erectile dysfunction and constant pain. And since you still have morning wood that's a good sign circulation is fine.

Thx so much for the quick reply.. just thought that any curved penis means peyronies disease. I forgot to mention that the curvature is between 20 to 30 degrees. Not sure if this will change your assessment. Thx again.

It sounds congenital. If it causes issues during sex you can try different positions. Of course avoid any positions with girl on top of you're worried about safety. Also make sure you're always fully hard during sex and masturbation.

But if you want to be doubly sure, get with a Peyronies specialist and have an ultrasound done. But without any pain or ED you sound fine man. Also, does your penis make any weird shapes mid erection? Like an hourglass? Just seeing if it does.

Hi and thx again for your help. As I mentioned in my first post, the curvature was due to injury during masturbation when I forced my penis to the left so I injured it. It swell for some handful days with some pain then everything get back to normal except that I started to have curved penis with 20 to 30 degrees bend. I was 15 yo by that time. From 15 yo to 33 yo everything was super normal: hard erections, random erections hard, morning wood rock hard, maintain erection for hours, no pain at all, etc..

My concern is that after 33 yo things started to change and my current situation is that hard erections exist after stimulation and cannot maintain for long, morning wood only during night only, soft morning wood in the morning if ever, random erections are soft and half erections, etc.. but the curvature remain the same and no pain whatsoever.

So my question is that can the consequence of this accident appear after 18 YEARS or its normal in my age to start having such issues. I am 36 yo now.

Thx for your help.

Oh I see now. It is possible that you damaged your penis at 15 enough to cause Peyronies Disease. But, as for the erectile issues, it could be cardiovascular. If you have no pain that's a great thing. Pain is always bad and a sign something is wrong. For now, I'd talk to a general doctor, and ask them to check your blood pressure, testosterone, and a recommendation for a urologist. I'm thinking this could be apart of normal aging, but, I can only speculate. For the meantime just exercise and if you are overweight get on a diet and count your calories. Keep a food diary on MyFitnessPal and monitor what you eat. Also, high fat diets can help with libido. Libido maybe the main issue here which can be fixed by fixing your health. Anyways, I hope I could help. I'm not an expert, but, I'm just going by what a lot of members on the forum experience including myself. Good luck!

Thx for the advice I will consider. It s good to have ideas from life experiences which are sometimes better than expert opinion. One last question, from your experience here in the forum people in my case or others with peyronies disease can take pills like viagra and cialis or is there risk for more damages to the penis?

You can. But get a prescription from a doctor. Don't buy it off some random pill site. Also, I'd try avoiding jumping into pills so you don't become dependent on them. And the risk from them is priapism which can end up damaging the penis. I'd ask in the erectile dysfunction forum for more advice on the matter. But, remember we can only give opinions, experience and not true medical advice. Don't do anything without a doctor's permission. And make sure the doctor is a Peyronies specialist. Specialists tend to take greater interest in penile health overall.

JCH

Hi! Let me talk from my experience, I also have had trouble maintaining erections, as a matter of fact, I lost my erection during sex in more than one occasion. and it seemed  my morning wood was less frequent. I did talk to my doctor and explained it to him. He really felt like I had loss my confidence and that led to me having anxiety which caused me to lose my erection. And I agree! He gave me a prescription for an off brand viagra and it worked miracles.  But I only used one bottle and have never needed them since.  OH!!! As for morning wood....my doctor said that any morning wood is a sign that you are working appropriately.  So if you walk up hard.....just know your blood flow is in good shape.
But unfortunately, as we age things are not as vibrant as our teens and twenties.
Best of luck!

Hiii JCH. Actually that is exactly my concern. As 36-37 yo guy am I considered young to start having erection problems or just normal. And regarding anxiety and performance I also agree. From my experience I woke up several times during the night with good erections which disappear as soon as I open my eyes and start thinking about them. In addition I have erections during the nights for the past 2 years but not in the morning when I wake up. Anyway, I guess I should try some pills under the prescription of a doctor. Thanks guys for sharing your experience with me.
