Hi all just joined this forum as I've felt alone with this problem .I first noticed a bump on the side of my penis in 2017 and Had a deep aching feeling in that area. The  head of my penis bent to the right .My doctor said it is mild and will go away in a year or so .He was absolutely right in jan 2018 it stopped hurting and had straitened out completely .But in may last year it returned I had a dull ache and my penis bent upwards this time .As times gone on it's stopped hurting but still bends up at the end  . I blame myself for this condition I am in my late 40s and when all this started I was not happy with the hardness of my erections .So I got some viagra and was enjoying erections like an 18 year old again.I think the viagra damaged my penis as I wasn't suffering with Erectile Dysfunction I shouldn't have taken viagra .My doctor don't agree but I know the raised blood circulation caused by taking viagra when I didn't really need it stretched it out to much and caused my Peyronie disease .So all you guys out there thinking of taking viagra just for fun take my story as a warning don't do it viagra is good for those who need it but not just to harden up your erections. My wife and I used to have a good sex life but now we don't .she says it don't bother her but I know deep down it does . I suffer from depression because of this wishing I could be dead on a daily basis .But not brave enough to top myself

Has a urologist diagnosed you with Peyronies Disease?
Snake Diet + 5-day fasts + pentox + NeoV's stretching routine + Mito Red Light. Curvature 99% gone.

I also used Todd Capistrant's "Fascial Distortion Model" to help my curvature. Start slowly.

I was sent to see a urologist by my doctor the first time I developed it and was diagnosed with Peyronies .The second time around I haven't been to see a doctor as I know the signs and what it is I've got .I was told it will heal in a year or 2 just hoping this heals up on its own too like last time  in a year or so.I don't take any meds I'm thinking of trying the water fasting I've read about on here though .

Hey BookBent !!!!I understand the down change in your sex life has made you depressed but look at the bright side: " you are a young man and you have time to recover from both peyronies and you depression as well. Try hard to focus on positive things. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer at age 58 and had to undergo treatment for a couple of years and all alone since my wife got scared with my radiation treatment and decided to live at her mother's. Now at age 67 I am fighting Peyronies disease . I sympathize with you because I too suffer from clinical depression but I do my best to keep positive thoughts. Don't gave up man!!!! Tomorrow will be another day. Best Wishes...Good Luck

Do you masturbate? I think masturbation is a cause of peyronie.
31 yo, Hourglass Peyronies likely because of masturbation

Treatment: Vit E and fish oil (vitD+E), no more masturbation; good improvement so far, less hourglass both in flaccid and erect state, little to no pain during erection now

If masturbation and/or strong erections(by Viagra or whatever) caused Peyrones, then most every male in the world would have Peyrones. That is far from the case. I had never heard of Peyrones until I got it and I am over 50. I have not read anywhere that states the exact cause of Peyrones. I did NOT have an injury that caused it. I asked my Urologist what caused it and he said he didn't know. I am not obese. Not a diabetic. Exercise a lot. Yet I got dick Plaque . Masturbating since my ear;ly teens. Screwed a lot of women. Dick has been through a rough time LOL Still didn't get it until my 50s. Barring injury its just a guessing game IMO
5 Rounds of Xiaflex. Good results.

Why did you take viagra in the first place and how much did you masturbate?

Why do you think masturbation wouldn't contribute to peyronie? Especially when one masturbates with a hard flaccid.

I used to masturbate every day lol I took viagra as I wanted to be harder for sex with my wife  .I think as you get older your erections are not as they were so I was trying to get that back .I didn't suffer with Erectile Dysfunction .I still don't but if I do I won't take viagra again .I don't masturbate anymore it's all stopped including my sex life now hence the depression setting in

Masturbation, especially masturbation to porn is known to trigger erectile dysfunction. If you were using masturbation to regulate your mood, which is what many people do and what it looks you've been doing, it will give you a temporary feeling of not being depressed, even if you are. You're feeling depression now because you stopped artificially heightening your mood.

I don't know why people think masturbation can't trigger peyronie, masturbation is very tough on your penis and the pressure you're applying per square cm/inch is much higher than during intercourse or oral.

When my peyronie triggered, the plaque was EXACTLY where i was holding onto my penis when masturbating.

Guys, we're all prone to assign a cause to whatever was happening before we got peyronies as the trigger.  No studies show masturbation or Viagra (PDE5i) as contributing to peyronies.  That is unless the masturbation is done when not fully erect, roughly without lube if circumcised, or for such extended periods of time that it's damaging (you will notice this).  Daily low dose PDE5i are actually shown to heal peyronies plaque.  Abstaining unnecessarily will only make one more devastated and depressed.  Read the survival guide here to get started on proven treatment strategies. Hi tony if you look up beta blockers that lower blood pressure your find that a possible side effect is Peyronie's disease . Viagra is known to lower blood pressure in order to produce an erection in people who suffer ED.so I think that it is very possible that if as in my case you take viagra when you don't really need to it can cause Peyronies just as a beta blocker can
