Been lurking since February. Not an expert on this disease but this forum has helped tremendously and is a valuable source of knowledge and shared experiences. I have a scientific background in health sciences and as a result am very thorough and detail oriented regarding review of supplementals & clinical literature. I will do my best to provide a personal account as well as be a source for others.

Age: 35
Height: 6' 2"
Weight: 180lbs +/-5

8/1/18 - Pre-Symptoms/early onset & general health screening: first noticed small lump in center of shaft. I did not make general practitioner aware of condition, wasn't sure what it was, no deformity/pain, Erectile Dysfunction non-existent. Diet was crap and working office job, fairly sedentary lifestyle over winter, although strength training consistently x2 weekly.

12/3/18 - 1st appointment & subsequent diagnosis: Lump grew larger, thought it was cancer, concern grew so I scheduled the Urology appointment. Became acquainted with disease & started educating myself. Moderate psychological impact, became worse as condition progressed into palpable plaque and noticeable upward angulation. Rx: NeoQ10 & VitE.

2/14/19 - 2nd appointment & acute phase progression: Confirmation of previous Peyronies diagnosis. Moderate partially psycho-driven ED, some ED clearly related to physical Peyronies symptoms. Concern with level of angulation and psychological impact low to moderate but discussed nonetheless, started additional oral treatment Rx: Pentox (400mg x 3 daily), was prescribed 5 Cialis tablets but haven't taken it yet, ridiculously expensive, will try Sildenafil or cheaper alternative. Stopped taking NeoQ10 and VitE.

Interim: Psycho-impact & moderate depression potentially linked to winter cabin fever, hypochondriac. Hated everyone and everything for a bit. As seasons changed decided to drastically alter diet to improve overall health (blossom into a health flower). Started w/ 48hr fast, felt amazing after albeit a little weak. Continued w/ 23:1 OMAD and experimenting w/ slight cal. deficit KETO, gaining vast understanding of health & alternative treatment via metabolism. OMAD is not hard for me, +2 weeks and counting. Read and watched countless Layne Norton, Peter Attia, Rhonda Patrick, Dom D'Agostino, Snake Juice, Tom DeLauer fasting supplementals. We'll see where it goes.

5/15/19 - Mayo Clinic second opinion & implementation of additional treatment: Initial patient diagnosis, testosterone level blood test and potential Ultrasound. Will discuss implementation of mechanical treatment via VED or device Traction. Seeking additional Rx for Sildenafil. Of Note: Mayo Clinic department of Urology includes Dr. Landon Trost (inventor of RestoreX) who specializes in Peyronies. I will be seen by a colleague. Was told Dr. Trost will be leaving Mayo in June, will inquire.

In summation: this crap sucks, no doubt. I have a wonderful supportive wife and I am learning to cope and be proactive in the search for the best way forward. If there is any advice I can offer it is to be educated and patient, perseverance is key, not just with Peyronies but any life challenge. I echo the sentiments expressed in previous intro posts: your penis is just a small part of who you are, in my case, TINY  :P, kidding. Move yourself forward and develop not only a personalized method of treatment but tend to other aspects of your life that you may have let go or forgotten obsessing over the disease, don't be lethargic. It will do wonders for your psyche. Finally, don't be afraid to confront this disease, you won't do yourself any favors ignoring your health. I have spent more on health care for my dogs than I have myself, take care of yourself!

I will update my progress, if you have any questions, hmu!

Thanks!
