My plaque is inexplicably currently 100% gone. Anybody else have this happen?

Have had Peyronies for about 5 years, don't recall exact date. Diagnosed by urologists. First mass appeared right side, painful and caused curvature.  Over next 12 months-ish another mass developed left side.  This almost eliminated curvature but just caused painful and smaller erections.  Tried everything I could afford.  Every stupid home remedy you've ever read about on here.  Nothing made any difference. My wife swore she couldn't tell a difference and after a long period of depression I finally accepted it as my new reality.  

A few weeks ago I noticed sex didn't hurt.  Then I noticed I could barely feel one of the masses of plaque.  Last week both masses were completely gone and I even am able to pee normally again.  Is this normal?  The cynical pessimistic side of me thinks it will just reappear soon and be even worse than before.  I've racked my brain trying to think of anything I have changed in my lifestyle recently and this is all I can come up with:

1. Started taking Type I collagen for last 6 months.  Not for Peyronies, but for tendon health (having shoulder problems)
2. All but quit drinking about 1 month ago. I haven't been a heavy drinker for 20 years but recently discovered having more than one beer would cause me to have a shingles outbreak almost every single time.  So little to no alcohol in my life now.
3. I know this is TMI but so is almost everything on this forum! Used Ponds Cremas lotion a few times last few weeks. In a small container about the size of a golf ball.  It's a face lotion.  I'm sure this is nothing, but figured it's worth mentioning and maybe there's something in it? If anybody reading this is as desperate as I was then I know you're willing to try anything.  

If anybody reads this and has had something similar happen, please comment and share what helped you.
