Should I go for xiaflex ?

Hi guys

Just got done witht he acute phase. I am now entering the chronic phase .

During the acute phase ive done a lot of restore X . I gain a lot of lenght back after losing size but the curvature did not improve . I also have a bit of narrowing above the plaque . The plaque is dorsal ( top of the penis / upward curve ). Its near the gland . I also started cialis but super late in the acute phase unfortunetly. The plaque was already pretty sizable and hard.

I am perfectly straight and girthy under the plaque but above the plaque im smaller which look weird ( narrowing) . The curve is around 45 degree maybe a bit more and its really sudden , not a natural banane curve at all . I hâte the aestetic of my penis now . I can have sex just fine , but I cant really to crazy and go to pound town , I need to be safe and délicate during sex because of the curve . I had a girl on top once and it did hurt me a bit .

I want to know if xiaflex is worth it . I am canadian and i have no insurance so if i pay 30-40k which is almost half of my current networth . I want RESULTS on the curvature , plaque size and narrowing . I would like the plaque to shrink where its almost cannot be felt by hand because its causing me OCD. For the curvature , I would be happy with anything between 10-30 degree.

Can this be acheive ? Is xiaflex worth it ? Or should I just go for plaque and excision grafting surgery ?

Surgery is scaring me so much thought .

I dont think i can improve anymore with other treatment ( non invasive)


Please help me find a solution because I cant live with my current penis . I am willing to post pictures if needed

Ideally if people can share success stories and picture , i would really appréciâtes it

From what I understand, Xiaflex will not shrink the plaque, it just kind of splits it open, or releases the scar tissue fibres...but it still be there. Best case would probably be that you decrease the curvature but some deformity will still likely remain.

What has your urologist recommended so far with regards to surgery?

Xiaflex is a powerful drug.
I had a 30 degree left bend and after one session (2 shots) it s basically straight. This does not mean Peyronie s is gone, just that the xiaflex disrupted the plaque sufficiently to avoid the bend.

Two things to consider
1) for best results I recommend Dr Trost in Orem Utah
2) the procedure itself can give side effects ( I had blisters, hematoma, bleeding, swelling...) and one session might not be enough.

I have no familiarity with US/canada insurance.

Hey man ! Thanks for the replay . Honestly , I am not being followed by a urologist . The health system in Canada is free but its absolute crap . If your not dieing, you will get close to no help . So i want to a private clinic but cant afford follow ups so only paid for one session . I pretty much got the diagnostic , got prescribe cialis and colchicine ( did not take the colchicine, maybe i should of thought ... ) and bought restore x . So i dont have any opinion when it come to surgery .

I cant exactly tell you how much ive gain back when it comes to lenght . But my penis did shrink in the begining and I feel im almost back to normal if not more . Hard to tell with the curve . I will include pictures , let me figure out how to do so , im new to the forum .

Over all I think restore x is a great dévide since ive gain lenght and girth and my penile tissue is much healthier ( i add hard flacid, my penis just felt mega weird and looked unheatlhy when flacid)

I bought restore x january 2025 . My injury was in the summer of 2024 , but the noticable bent and plaque started in january 2025 . Got a sunden 45 dégree bent.

Initially, i was using the device wrong unfortunetly. I am not circumsise and I was not pulling for foreskin to clamp over the gland ridge. So i was pulling the skin , not only the tunica. Got some gains still but who knows what would of been my gain if i used the proper technique at first . Did that for 5 months .

Then got super depressed cause the curve was not moving and the plaque grew over time and stopped using restore x for 3 months . Then started again for a full month ( with the proper technique )but got a lichen slerosus flare up which is a skin inflamatory disease of the penis so I had to stop again for 6 weeks. I restarted doing restore x 2-3 sessions par day 30 min each for 3 months now .

Thanks for the reply this is giving me hope that I can fix this at some point . It Will just cost my much of my net worth but honestly I dont care at this point , all I want is an healthy and fonctionning penis .

Question for you . What was your plaque like ? Was it hard and thick , was it more of a band ( plaque ) or lump ? How hard was it ? Calcified or not ? Did the plaque shrink with the injection , how much and is it softer now ? ( asking for my ocd)
