Those of you who have had a nesbit operation, is there a way to calculate beforehand approximately how much shorter the penis will be? If I have an upward curve, can you measure the top of the penis, and then approximately that measurement will be when the bottom has been shortened?
46 years old, Sweden. Fiancée + two small boys.
Chronic state since late 2024.
Upward curve 45º. Nothing from the urologist.
Tried Andropeyronie for 2 weeks. USELESS.
Tried PMP, 3,5 months, didn't help the curve.
Now 4 months Restorex, nothing yet.

I'm not exactly sure how surgeons calculate it - Maybe someone on here can advise?

That being said, the last urologist I spoke to said that I could be fully straightened out with a 16 dot plication and just 4mm in overall length loss.

I could be wrong but I'm also under the impression that if you have an upward curve, when you look down, you are already looking at the shorter side anyway. So maybe the end result wouldn't be quite so noticeable?

Obviously, any loss is far from ideal but it's probably a small price to pay to be able to put this disease behind you and lead a normal sex life again.

I sure as hell don't have the mental capacity to be worrying about it endlessly for years to come and may well consider it if traction shows no signs of improvement after a year of really giving it a good go.
