Here we go!  Glad I found this site.  Time line:

Today's Date:  Oct 13, 2016
June 2016:  Injury during sex.  Did not feel a thing.
July 2016:  Noticed pea size lump in center of the middle of the shaft
Sept 1 2016:  Noticed slight upward curvature.
Oct 1 2016:  Curvature increasing, no pain
Oct 16 2016:  Appointment with urologist

What should I do?

Paolo

don612,
Please update after urologist appointment.

Presume the lump is on the dorsal side?, is it tender to touch? Be careful whilst checking and don't use any unnecessary pressure, you are lucky to not have any pain currently, try not to stress and sleep well.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.

The lump is much smaller now, difficult to detect.  When it was larger it was clearly at mid point of the shaft and in the center of the interior, if that makes sense.

Paolo

don612, hopefully your penis might be starting to heal if the lump is smaller, until your appointment take a multi-vitamin or something like Berocca  :)

Don,

Go to the peyronies survival guide segment of the site. It's near the top on the home page. It has extremely useful information. You can get on some supplements know which can slow things down.

If you want to have a chance to stall the progression, I'd recommend that you ask for a prescription for Pentox. On my first visit, the urologist was not even going to bring it up, but finally did so when I pressed him on it. I showed him the research studies (also listed on the survival guide area) and he ultimately did give me the prescription. But if I had not done all of that, I would have gotten the wait and see approach.

A lot of urologists are not up to speed on the disease, although I hope you get a good one! It is best to be your own advocate and educate yourself.

Don;
Assuming this is the onset of Peyronies, you need to act quickly and start treatment.

Frank is right. The lack of knowledge about this disease amongst many Urologists is truly shocking. You don't generally expect to visit a specialist and find that you know more about your condition than he does!..

Arm yourself with as much information as you can. Don't be afraid to as questions, and if you're not happy, find another Uro.

Anyway, good luck and hopefully it's not Peyronies.

Went to Kaiser Permanente doc.  He said the curvature is only about 15 degrees and I should do nothing for 6-8 months to see where it ends up.  I asked about Pentox.  He is not a fan.  Today, 2 weeks after the appointment, the slow but steady increase in curvature continues.  I have been taking the supplements mentioned here.  What's next?  Sit and wait for 8 months?

Moderator since 2015- Missouri- I work in the medical field and have strong knowledge of insurance and how to obtain coverage for medication and other treatments. Being a woman I do not have Peyronies but you can ask me anything. I am happy to help.

Yes, you should definitely try to find a more pro active Uro. The time to act is now!  Not in 6-8 months. Why so many Urologist espouse this is beyond me. In 90+% of cases, you're only going to 'wait and see'. your condition worsen.

For now, get on traction asap. This will help mitigate the degree of curvature.

You can read about the most well thought of devices in the section on traction.
