I am a 21 year old law student from Ireland. Like most of you, I never had a problem with ED. My biggest problem was keeping my fella down.
I began cycling heavily about a year ago. After 6 months of covering 200km + per week (all without proper padded shorts, I know, how stupid am I?) I noticed changes in my erectile capacity. I was also a heavy masturbator, and would use quite a tight grip.
Now to the symptoms: I havent had a single morning erection since May of this year. There is a long, lumpy, worm-like piece of scar tissue on the penis shaft, right at the base curving off to the right. I experience pain at this site when flaccid. I find it very hard to get erections, and have noticed my libido is extremely diminished. I also went through a bad break up around May, and while that cant have helped I have gone through break ups like this before without my erectile function being lessened in this way.
I went to a urologist two weeks ago. To me, he seemed extremely incompetent. He didnt even suggest an ultrasound. I told him everything and his response was that we should wait 3 months to see. I have lost around an inch and a half in length, and my hair is thinning out like crazy for some reason. Can anyone help me I do not know what to do? This is not what being 21 should feel like

peyronny

From my experience regular urologists are all incompetent at least in terms of Peyronies. Most would probably suggest finding a Peyronies specific specialist. But I know how difficult that can be depending on your location and I have been unable to see one myself. My only advice would be to try and avoid pushing on the area of the scar tissue too much.

I have various lumps and areas of scar tissue and I believe I made it much worse by messing with it too much. My libido isn't gone but actually it's too high because I'm avoiding masturbation and the wide ranger of supplements I'm on make me extremely horny some days, which is good but also frustrating. The irony is I get more erections now than I did before I had Peyronies because of supplements. But they are unusable and painful. I have pretty much around the clock flaccid pain, which is made much worse due to weight issues and other complications.. My advice would be to start some of the supplements recommended on this forum and let it heal, because touching or pushing on the lumps made things much worse in my case. My own anxiety and obsession with it made thing worse, to the point it's a battle just to get through the day with pain levels.

From my experience L citruline made me extremely horny at least when I first started. That could be of benefit if you want a higher libido. Also L-arginine. But other more experienced users will probably have better advice than me, I'm just going from my own experiences, and my case is unique so may not apply the same as others. But my original urologist told me to wait a YEAR and see, and just suggested Vitamin E. I didn't know about all the other potential treatments at the time and wish I did.

Thanks for your response and I appreciate the response. At the moment I'm taking coq10 and l arginine amongst other supplements. I am worried that because the nodule is at the very base of my shaft, its absorbing all of the blood and peventing my penis from filling up at all.
It seems completely crazy to be asked to wait a year. Were you even recommended a particular scan or anything to confirm that its Peyronie's? The first time my Uro looked at my nodule he waved his hand and said "ah that's just a vein" until I made him touch it. How crazy is that!

Mollybeure: hey man. I was reading your post, an almost immediately occurred that i might know what you have and i know exactly where you should go.

this doctor is a leading expert on this, and i was there in his office in march. You can see my posts from a few months ago to read the experience. This surgery is also applicable to those, like me, who have a penile fracture, although the success rate is not that high. However, in your case, it has the biggest chances of success, so you should definitely consider going there.

The price is 500 +/- for the consultation and another 500$ for the ultrasound and a detailed report on your erectile function. (I also have the report on this forum, on a post somewhere).

I don't know about your lumps but for the shrinkage and ed, i do have to say that you can and should use daily cialis 2.5 or 5mg (whichever works best, so you can keep daily erections and maintain your penis tissue healthy) and use a vacuum pump and follow a protocol specific for ED. (I can help you with that).

Also, the doctor has a 10 mintute phone consultation for free that you can schedule and talk to him, and then decide if you want to go there or not.

If you want to talk about this, let me know.

Hey pfract,

Sorry to hear about your fracture, did the surgery help you at all?

That all sounds amazing, however it seems like money would be an issue for me. I live in Ireland :( i have a vacuum pump and was using sildenafil but had a bad reaction to it. Will have to check out Cialis with my GP tomorrow .

Were you happy with the detailed report offered on your sexual function?

Thanks man.

Don't tell me you can't get less than 2000 euros to pay for plane tickets and medical fees.....  Check my posts on the forum. Do a search on them, and see if you can find them

Doppler ultrasound report - Peyronies Society Forums

"Duplex Doppler ultrasonography was performed during pharmacologic erection. The patient was injected with 0.20 ml of the vasoactive agent 30-2-20. Gray scale studies showed mild left corporal fibrosis and mild right corporal fibrosis.
The tunical thickness was 1.5 mm (dorsal) and 1.2 mm (ventral).
The septal thickness was 1.1 mm.
The right cavernosal artery grade was 1 out of 3 with no atherosclerosis. The diameter of the right cavernosal artery was 1.0 mm.
The left cavernosal artery grade was 1 out of 3 with no atherosclerosis. The diameter of the left cavernosal artery was 1.3 mm.
Duplex Doppler ultrasound studies showed that the right cavernosal artery peak systolic velocity values were 30.9 and 39.73 cm/s with end-diastolic velocity values of 0 and 0 cm/s, respectively.
The left cavernosal artery peak systolic velocity values were 23.41 and 40 cm/s with end-diastolic velocity values of 0 and 0 cm/s, respectively.
This hemodynamic test revealed abnormal Gray scale findings including mild corporal fibrosis,
This test also revealed abnormal duplex Doppler findings, with reduced peak systolic velocity values for his age and no end diastolic velocity values in the presence of pharmacologic smoth muscle relaxation."

This is my report on that post. That was in march this year. If you can get the money, don't think twice. The only thing that will happen to you, is that you will keep on wasting time on local urologists going nowhere. And if you go to San Diego, you do all the diagnostics that are necessary on the same place, and you talk to a leading expert that does a surgery for your problem, and frankly, is the last thing you can try that has the possibility of restoring your natural erections once again.

I didn't have the surgery yet, and i am still deciding if i should proceed or not. I am, and i am not a candidate of sorts. But the medical care and understanding i had there where awesome. Second to none, even though it wasn't perfect. Whish all the urologists i went to in Portugal where like that.

Did you saw the website? scheduled any call? are you planning too? did you check the youtube videos? what do you have to say about that? are your symptoms similar?

Let me know, please.
