Hi Guys and Gals,
46 white married good health and not bad shape, so I am new to this whole Peyronies thing, there are so many things on the web that will make your head spin, some stuff I read gives me hope and some just makes it worse... but Im sure we all don't want to be here on this forum, but we are  :P

BTW I had no idea this even existed till I googled "my dick is bent"

I woke up one morning to my little buddy not feeling exactly the same, a little pain in the shaft and noticed it went to the left, I pulled the sheets down to have a look and show the wife.... holy F^@% batman that doesn't look good at all...

So a step back 2 years, I have had a little ED issues - nothing to crazy but sometimes by little buddy wouldn't but up for the job and other times he was ready to go and work a 2nd shift if needed. A friend of mine told me about some generic Viagra he had used and it worked wonders for him, so I thought WTF I'll give it a try - WOW boy O boy did that stuff work - man talk about a thoughtless erection I mean you can cut glass with that f^@%er for sure. I would only use that stuff for special occasions not a daily thing.

Another term I have picked up on this site "hour glassing" I guess I have had this issue for many years maybe about 15 years, first noticed it when I would be semi hard, my erection would have this waist line to it, it would go away as soon as I would get fully erect, kind of silly looking I thought? Never thought much about it till now.

So getting back to what happened a few months ago. Just waking up with a bent dick and pain in the shaft. after about 2 weeks of not really doing anything with it or even wanting to see it, I decided to take Mr Happy out and give it some slapping around - yes still bent and still some pain, not as much pain but still noticeable.... the wife (she is a wonderful and super supportive person) got involved and wanted to she what she could do, and yes Mr Happy got semi hard and felt great I was able to achieve orgasm, but not hard enough for penetration.

Time to go see the doctor -- yes I know guys, it sucks big time to have to go to the doctors especially when it has to do with your junk...... Oh gawd..... but made the appointment with my general doctor, did a complete physical and blood work, everything came back normal except for my testosterone (it was 225 should be about 600) he really didn't think much about it, he just said it was low, but he did say with my ED issue and the low number he thought I should go see a urologist. So off to another doctor to talk about my package and the issues that I really don't want to talk about.

The urologist took a look at my blood work and the low testosterone numbers and ended up putting my on testosterone shot 400mg every 4 weeks and also 5mg of Cialis daily. As I am writing this it has been about 1 week since my shot and 5 days on the Cialis - I have noticed that my penis when erect is not bent to one side, but is straighter now but the shaft where the hourglass waist line was happening is still not doing very well. I can feel the scaring and the tissue that is damaged, it still hurts just a little bit and my erections are not as hard as I would like them to be - I feel that the Cialis has helped a bunch, I am starting to get some morning wood and my little buddy feels much plumper through out the day, guess this means its getting more blood flow?

Oh I also have been taking (for the last week) 10,000iu of vitamin D3

After reading some of the other story's here I feel like I might have a mild case? So I guess my questions are

1 - does it ever go away?
2 - has anyone ever tried the "Pshot"
3 - I would like some feed back on the daily Cialis - does it work for you guys?
4 - has anyone ever had the same thing where you just wake up one day and there it is?
5 - what about vitamin D shot, has this helped anyone
6 - thank God for this forum, I know I am not alone  ;)

ams;

Firstly, I'm assuming that your Uro has diagnosed Peyronies?  I'm a little confused as to why your Uro has only given you test shots and Cialis if that's his diagnosis?

You need to know what stage of the disease you're at. If Peyronies is the diagnosis, then he should have given you an ultrasound to determine the expert and nature of the plaque is there any calcification, etc.

If you've been reading the forum, you will probably have gathered that there is no guaranteed cure for Peyronies. However, that does not mean all is lost. There is much you can do to improve your condition.

Low test has been linked to Peyronies, so the shots should be helping with things?

Please let us know what your Uro's diagnosis is, we can make more suggestions from there.

Thank you for the information and thank you for reading my post.. every time I read something on this page it gives me just a little more about what is happening with my condition and what questions to ask the urologist on my next visit.
He never really came straight out and said that I have peyronies, but of course my head was spinning at that point. I will fallow up on this forum when I learn more. Thanks again

Tbones

My NC urologist diagnosed me with Low T after blood work on the first visit.  My numbers were below 300, which is very low for a 48 yr old otherwise healthy male.  She said this is considered a contributing factor to Peyronies and suggested that I start a taking Clomphene Citrate.   Low T is an off label use for this drug.  The idea is that it causes your body to produce more testosterone on it's on rather than having injections,  which can actually slow your bodies natural production of T.  Check this link for more info: Clomiphene Citrate (Clomid) in Men - A Testosterone Alternative   So I had all the classic symptoms of low T,  inability to lose weight with diet and exercise,  low energy,  sleeping way to much, and mental fog much of the time.   The first week of being on this I noticed immediate results!  First I started losing weight and felt better,  but I also starting having morning erections again, slowly, which had stopped a couple years ago.  I still have Peyronies, but it's not getting any worse.   I've been on this med now for about a month and my weight has dropped from 194 to 179 and I'm still losing, especially in my belly, which has gone from 43 to 40 inches.   I am also planking, walking 25 minutes 3 times a week and eating really healthy (semi-vegetarian diet), However,  I could never of lost this weight before with Low T.   I recently went back to get my testosterone levels checked (simple blood test) and they were at 1000 in just a couple of months!  Doc said I had rock-star testicles, lol.   She also reduced my dosage of Clomi and said I should be able to stop after 3 months and hopefully the body would keep making it naturally, but will monitor this every 3 months.  I've seen positive changes in my penis since my T levels are up and feel like I'm finally on a slow road to recovery.

I feel better than I have in years and have had no side effects.  I also take B-12, E and D vitamins daily and red rice pill for my high cholesterol  & just started Cialis, 1 pill every other day as recommended by the doc.  I don't know if low T caused my Peyronies, but I wanted to let everyone know my great experience I am having with this drug.   I'm still hoping to regain 1/2 to 1 inch lost length and girth in my penis and I've seen improvements in the curve which I also credit VED treatments a few times a week for 20 minutes.  I hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions.
