so i just got back from the urologist number 5 and that was dr levine. He examined me fully and told me that based on the fact that i only have curvature of the penis in semi flacid mode and that the ultrasound did not show much only small fibrosis toward the top that it was unlikely i had peyronies or if it did it was very very very mild..he said on a scale of 1-10 that i was at a .5......anyways,,,doctor said penis was inelastic ,,,

when erect i propose no curve or distortion at all but what there is is that my glands or chambers have lost their shape... they used to look like a cobra snake...now they are strait the left side completely and the right side used to be healthy but now it too has gone somewhat deformed and deflated...

when this first came i gained 30 lbs and was depressed..

then i noticed the bottom of my penis get smaller but nothing out of the ordinary i just thought it was because i gained weight. by smaller i mean thinner like the top girth and mid girth were larger than the base...but my penis was still hard and no shape problems..

then out of nowhere ...it collapsed toward the left side...one day...overmasturbation and bad habits for months...

little by little it has just tightened and the left side does not inflate the base has thinned corpus spongiosom soft at times and the right side is not starting to straighten and not look like a cobra snake like it used to be..

loss of girth from top to bottom like and doctor said penis was inelastic.

basically my penis hurts like nerve pain when i masturbate and feels inflamed ....also it does not inflate like before and is inelastic when erect...and in hard flacid mode often.

now i have narrowed it down to hormonal problems which i have for sure with blood tests showing low testosterone and high cholestoal. adrenal fatigue./ or that the tunica or corpus cavernoum is inelastic or has lost its elasticity/ or that there is a problem with oxygenated blood and that my tissue has oxidative stress/nerve problems/ pelvic floor dysfunction/.......but i might be wrong...best way to put it is my penis lost about .5 of girth mid shaft and about 1 inch in length ...does not feel as hard and has a hard time reaching erection...and is inelastic and not hard before...my penis used to be like a rock now it cannot get 100 percent erection maybe at most 85 percent. were penis meets the body at the absolute base i have on and off groin pain and it is thinned there and cannot get hard all the way ...
\

if anyone can maybe lead me in a direction or chime in that would be awesome...it sucks waking up every day with my penis feeling different day in and day out... don't really know what this could be..

also if it is loss of elasticity....can that be regained??? I've looked over the web and have seen mixed opinions...some say no some yes...thank you anything helps god bless everyone here. best of luck.

Is that Dr. Levine at Rush, in Chicago?

"Peyronie's" or not, treat it as Peyronie's and you will see improvement. Levine should have at least got you on traction and taking something such as citrulline etc. Im sorry about your symptoms. He also should have had a better answer as to what the symptoms were. I imagine it's age and diet related, and genetic. Improving your vascular health by diet and exercise is almost all you can do. My penis still feels different, even if it functions alright and looks mostly fine. It's seriously tough man, I know!

Wow, I've looked through your post history and your condition closely mirrors what happened to me, although it didn't all occur in a single depression, but rather over several depressive episodes across about 12 years (from 19 to 31), each one one worsening it somewhat followed by some improvement each time during depression remission. But it never improved to the point it was before the depression, leading to a downward trend over time.

Like you I had a large penis (wouldn't fit normal condoms etc) but then at some point it suddenly became more "normal" size, and got a bedraggled "old" look, inelastic, thinner, not as long, less hard - but most of all the formerly bulging head shrunk, changed shape and wouldn't inflate properly.

Like you I also didn't really have any overt lumps. Unfortunately, during a depression earlier this year, I did something very stupid and injured my dick (amid excessive masturbation). From that movement, large clusters of lumps have appeared in multiple locations, the bend has gotten first, and the head changed direction in two places.

I too have very high cholesterol and during the depressive times I spent way too much time lying in bed masturbating and eating terrible food.

My personal theory is that there's more to the depression-Peyronie's link than getting sad from the symptoms (although that is important).

At the least, in our cases I suspect the depressed desire to excessively comfort masturbate, on a less hard penis (due to depression), with a less elastic penis (stress affects collagen) combined to produce lots of wear and tear. Other lifestyle factors associated with the depression - poor eating, weight gain etc - likely contributed to these issues.

But I suspect the link is more complex still. There seems to be interesting associations between inflammation and a range of conditions that are becoming more prevalent - diabetes, obesity, cardio-vascular issues, cancer, and even depression. The associations between inflammation and depression are so strong that inflammation is now a leading, perhaps the leading, candidate as the *cause* of depression according to biological psychiatrists. Maybe it's not the root cause, but there is a strong association, including for types of inflammation that don't seem very emotionally important (unlike the penis), so it appears that depression and inflammation are related in a physical rather than just emotional way. Some info below.

Any way, just thought I'd share my experience and underscore the potentially complex mind-body link. Also, if you do masturbate, be super gentle.

Sorry for the late update, have not been here for a while...thank you for ur responses ...yes I did go to dr Levine in rush medical... and yes my penis is most likely not a Peyronie's problem but mirrors the symptoms....my problem is the same maybe a little worse. ...

The main thing is my penis at the base is where it lost all the girth ...then groin pain followed by groin pain when masturbation like a dull pain..

I have narrowed my problem down to a muscle problem

It's somthing with the abdominal wall and pelvic floor...I have a hard flacid and my core is extremely tight

I will write more when I am at a computer but for my case it's somthing with pelvic floor or abdominal muscles...like someone is squeezing my penis from inside my body not allowing it to fully expand....

I checked hormones...my prolactin was up and also my vitamin D was low... testosterone was not the best either not low but in the lower 3rd...

I would recommend that if you are someone with no plaques ...then u might be better off going with physical therapy, yoga, chiropractic, holistic medicine, pelvic floor specialist..exc....I am now at that stage...god bless everyone no matter what ur problem is...this takes a hit in your identity and not bring able to be yourself is what really hurts at the end of the day... Peyronie's or not...I've not been able to be myself...things will be better ... good luck everyone.
