Hey there guys,
So here's my story, hopefully y'all have some insight. 15 months ago, I was having sex with my girlfriend and came out a bit too far. I trusted back forward and heard a slight crack and had some pain for a minute or two on the left side of my shaft. We finished up without any issues and the next day, I had no soreness and thought nothing of it. The months went by and now here I am on the Peyronies forum. Starting about 8 months in, my erections had  become weaker and weaker and over the last few months, I'm now I'm struggling with ED. I can still achieve erections when masturbating, but they are nothing like they were a year ago and when it comes to the real deal, it's worse.

When "erect" I really don't have much of a curve at all, but instead it seems that the left side of my shaft is not filling. When I feel (and even see when moving the skin) that side, I can feel two prominent and vertical-running ridges directly at the point where it seems to not get blood anymore(mid way down the shaft and on to the head). The head feels soft during an erection, and is often times cold feeling when flaccid. Still occasional morning erections, but very weak. I have hard-flaccid symptoms on that left side as well. I've lost a very noticeable amount of length and girth, and if I had no ED symptoms, I could probably learn to live with that.

I saw a urologist, and he prescribed me Pentox and 5mg cialis, about 12 months in,  but I had no coverage and the costs were killing me. I've since gotten a new job, and after taking a girl home and not being able to get it up on 20mg of viagra, I plan to start my vigorous fantasy recovery right now. I see a lot of variance in symptoms, from curvature, to ED, to plaques, maybe somebody could help narrow down my search field.

The mental aspect of this is so depressing especially when applying it to what the future holds for me, but I'm trying to keep a good head, and hope I can get some damage control going. Thank you guys so much for sharing everything on this forum(as I've read much of it before), and if anybody could confirm anything or give some advice, it'd be much appreciated. God Bless!

The cracking sound is unfortunately a classic symptom of penile fracture. Although, from your description there was no hemorrhaging (which would look like a bruise) which is usually also associated with penile fracture.

I suspect your Urologist hasn't looked into this enough and I would suggest you would need a thorough diagnosis including scans from a Urologist specialising and sympathetic to Penile injury and Peyronies Disease. There is a list by location of such Urologists on this Forum

Half,

It is important to keep a good head about this. Everybody with Peyronies winds up having some level of fear, anger or depression. I am of the belief that the first two are not crippling, but the depression is not something that you should allow yourself to get into. You control your own feelings, utilize the anger part of this condition (i.e. why did this happen to me) as a motivating factor to be channeled to conquer your condition.

You also have to be patient because not every drug or remedy works for everybody. I have found little benefit from supplements and zero results from Pentox, plus the mild headaches Pentox brings on is rather special. Traction has helped with erection strength and provided a little gain as well as a little (very little) reduction in curvature for me. So, you will have to go through each step and work your way up the ladder in treatment options. Surgery is your absolute last alternative when everything else has failed.

Quack,
I'm in the process of setting up an appointment with Dr. Mulhall up in NYC.. At first they told me he wasn't seeing new patients, until I said I'm having symptoms of Peyronies. So i should have that appointment the beginning of May, and I plan on making the most of that visit.

Gutted,
I definitely think it was indeed a fracture(and there was a small bruise about the size of a pea for about a day or two).. How does my situation compare with some of the other classifications in terms of success? It just seems strange that whether it's my situation, or someone who develops this at an older age and unprovoked, It all gets classified as Peyronies...

Thanks for the replys guys, it's really better talking to people who have answers about this.

It is crazy because my symptoms are really similar to the symptoms that you are having. I am 23 years old. I want to 4 urologists got my color ultrasound Doppler done(checked up ok) and I was finally sent to the fifth one which concluded that I had Peyronie's disease. For me I've just had a case of really bad luck when it comes to my health and have not made the best decisions over the past year. I have familial hypercholesterolemia and over this winter since I live up north in Washington there was an absence of sunlight and I had to gained about 40 pounds and was masturbating a lot at times even 3 to 4 times a day to cheer myself up. I was depressed extremely stressed and was eating probably the worst Food being fast food every day.

My erection had never really changed I had a lot more fat in that area but the erection itself was good. Then about six months ago I noticed that the base of my penis was a little bit less girthy than usual. Then all of a sudden it seems like almost overnight I just got the left side of my mid the top of the shaft loss of girth and stopped filling. From mid to right below the glands it does not fill properly now on the left side. When flacid it cannot be seen but I can tell since I've had my penis my whole life.. Slightly indention on the left side. When halfway erect this is where there is alot noticeable. Left side mid to top not filling and indention and curve to the left. When fully erect I can still notice a small curve but it's almost toward me and toward the left slightly... But if someone looked at it they wouldn't tell... My length and girth have both decreased about .5../.../.6 of an inch. When erect it's hard to see. I was having groin pain, pain in the lower left of my back even some weird pain going to the top of my left inner leg where it meets the growing hand some stupid nerve pain in my left foot and ankle area even just to be specific.

I have not even done an introductory post yet which I will have to do. Even though I was diagnosed with Peyronie's it's hard to say that I do or do not have it as I do feel like there's something holding my penis back from reaching optimal erection. I was given same medications you were and realistically you're not going to get a lot of help out of these doctors it's as if they don't give a damn.

This has been extremely depressing for me as well because when it came to my penis I was always extremely confident and happy with it and now it has turned into something that I'm trying to fix it rather than something that is just there and well I'm fine. What I am going to say is that no matter how bad or no matter what your problem is you cannot give up on life. I have lost 30 pounds out of the 40 that I put on I am eating great Foods everyday exercising and really looking at this is trying to let my body heal. You have to realized that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I am still new to this forum as well so I've just been learning and spending countless hours on the internet just like many of the other people here searching for answers and searching for Similar symptoms. ( the one thing I don't understand though is I do not have the plaque or lump that everyone is speaking of.)

Anyways I'm still learning how to use this forum but if there is a way to reach out and you want to ask questions I will be more than willing to answer I have already went through a lot just in the first couple months and for now fighting with everything I got.

Kobra,
It does sound  like you and I have a really similar case. After reading hours of thread on this forum I realized that although everyone on here is either diagnosed with peyronies or is pretty sure they have it, there are still very loose classifications of the condition. For instance, if I had to pinpoint my biggest issues right now, they would include: Loss of length/girth(not being able to achieve full erection),and erectile dysfunction. Although my "damage" is clearly confined to the left side, I really don't have a curve at all when I'm up. But then I'll find myself reading about things that have helped or hurt guys and realize that their most prominent issues were a 45 degree curve to the right, but they had no problem getting hard. So it's still kind of hard for me to find the right posts to take advice from. It makes you wonder whether or not we are all in fact dealing with a different medical condition and just don't know it yet.

At first, the fact that I didn't have a curve actually made me feel a bit more hopeful, but as my symptoms are still getting worse, my reasoning has changed. Old Man was nice enough to answer a PM I sent him, and he said it sounds like I have a classic case😔. I have never had any health problems other than broken bones, and I have always stayed in good shape, but do you remember an instance or an event where you think you may have done the damage?

After seeing Dr. Mulhall at the end of the month, I'll have my Doppler results and meds. I'm probably going to go the VED route too. Maybe he can get me hard again... Hahaha

By the way, does it piss anybody else off that humans can grow a real-live sheep in a F^@$!ng laboratory, but can't fix our dicks? f'~c<+d up world we live in gentleman!

Kobra,

What is your cholesterol level? Do you realize that cholesterol is critically important your sexual performance! If your cholesterol is too low, you can get dementia and equally as bad and more likely to occur first is you will get ED. The FDA even told doctors to stop giving cholesterol meds.

Go onto YouTube and search Dr. Joel Wallach and Cholesterol. Plenty to watch there.

Yes well that is the thing for me it has been pretty similar like it has been for you however the cause of mine was not from trauma or damage. I suspect that might cause was from a combination of things. I have high cholesterol and it is not low like the previous person has asked no sir it is the exact opposite. I will explain it like this it is a genetic thing that I got from my mom's side where I have a high LDL cholesterol. When I got my cholesterol checked in January it was 442, and that might sound crazy but it's not really what I'm worried about and at the time I was not having the Peyronies symptoms. My body has a problem with sunlight and does not process vitamin D and hold on to the vitamin as long as it should so when this winter came living where I live my body went into a bad mode where it was not repairing properly. Then with my foolish mistake I started eating a lot of junk food and I was depressed so I was masturbating a lot. It literally almost happened in a course of a couple months were the first thing I noticed was the bottom was thinning out but I didn't have any pain or problems at that point. Then out of nowhere it pretty much all my problems came to the table and yes they are pretty much similar to yours. Quack attack to answer your question it was not from low cholesterol it was because my body was not repairing properly and this is all obviously a hypothesis that I have formed(could be wrong haha). For me I just don't understand and I also posted in the introduction section and hope that someone can help me out because the one thing that I don't have that everyone else has is plaque or bump that they talk about. Mine just feels like something is holding it back from it expanding to the size that it should expand to.

///The real struggle I'm fighting right now is trying to figure out what I should do when it comes to masturbation. I'm stuck between the hole use it or lose it idea and the whole let it heal. /////My doctor told me to not use it or masturbate for a month but it was one of those things where he was just recommending it for the better of my life not for the bettering of the problem.

I can give some short inside lately I've been watching this doctor out of California called John Bergman and he has a lot of videos on YouTube that are all about General Health and the human body. I have not been able to solve my problem but I'm going to be flying out to visit this doctor in California sometime within the next couple of months. I like you have never really had any other health problems until now besides having high cholesterol however it never created problems for me until this year and now this happened and now I've lost a substantial amount of weight only to still have this problem which is just fabulous LOL. I knowtohat for one thing is for sure is that you have to take care of your body regardless of if it's going to make this problem better or not eating clean and being active for at least 2 hours a day of walking or one hour a day of strenuous exercise is key 2 regulating your hormones and your body's ability to repair. You also have to find a way to manage your stress from this problem as I am also trying to manage mine because in a way it is what I feel like cause the problem for me in the first place. I'm here with you and anyone else on this forum all I can offer is help and if they can offer me help then that is a blessing because of the end of the day this is just something that is impossible to talk about with other people because no one can see the angle. You want to ask me anything I'm here whenever you want anyone.
