Hello folks. brand new to this..  (Self) Diagnosed with Peyronies about 6 month ago. Actually my wife noticed It first. Got an appointment with an Urologist, told him about It and the only thing he did was to tell me to take Vitamin E, (Didn't say how much), and gave me a script for "Verapamil" cream.  I'm a Retired Disabled Vet and my Insurance will not cover any of the cost of the Verapamil (Over $100.00 per month).  Anyway that's my sob story.  I have learned a lot from this forum so far, so I'm going to start looking for a ED specialist.

Hello Mark5960!
I'm sorry that it happened to You too but You have to live with it. If You're a vet then You have some idea about causes and medicines. Try to diagnose what is the cause of Your problem: whether it is caused by lack of blood flow to the area, or maybe it is caused by mechanical trauma, or maybe caused by side effects are any drugs. Depending should be chosen treatments. Some think that there is an affinity between Peyronie and Dupuytren's disease and the so-called heel spur. It is worth to check what medications are prescribed in such cases. My problems arising from the injury. There is no Dupuytren's disease with me but I had a problem with a heel spur, which arranged using the ZAPPER. When it comes to action by the skin I am trying to apply the iodine with the help of DMSO and iontophoresis treatments I am doing myself with Verapamil alternating with colloidal silver ion dilution. Verapamil I have in the form of liquid for injection (Manidon 2.5 mg / ml) in 2 ml ampules.
Good luck!

Mark,

If you are in Maryland, Virginia, DC or the West Virginia/PA area near MD, Dr. Dean is a specialist in Peyronies at Walter Reed. That is who I see and he is a good guy. Just make sure you see him and not the female PA because she won't give you want you need, experience and knowledge on what to do. She gave me Colchochien (spelling?) and Dr. Dean said that was worthless.

If you need help getting the phone number to schedule with Dr. Dean, send me a PM and I'll respond with the phone number.
