Well 5 days of traction device at 2 hrs a evening. Now i have pain when flaccid and left side seems hard/harder. Before it was mostly on top. Also note a bit of a curve to the penis to right even when semi-flaccid. Taking ibuprofen with the pentox i was already.
SO, looks like the traction injured me all over again. Seems left side of penis swollen too a bit. Hopefully just inflamed and will go down.

No more traction for me at this point. I was super careful, as well as not using extensions, so obviously this should not happen, but did.

Hey all, ty for all the info and support. Where I stand: (just days ago)....
-First pain about 2m ago. No physical changes at all then or now, yet. Can feel the plaque, behind the glans area.
- Saw first Urologist month ago, said no sex for 6 weeks (married) and Ibuprofen 400mg x3 a day
- Shortly after, found and saw different urologist who specializes in peryronies. Prescribed pentox 400mgx1 a day, as well traction device (US Physiomed). Said sex fine (wife happy) and see in 6m.
- Been on the pentox 1m. no issues with taking it, with food of course.
- Got and using traction device 2 hrs a day for a week so far. Too early to tell of course on this.  Pretty much have to lie down and watch tv for these times at night. Device comes off if i move too much.
- Sex about once a week, but super carefully. No 'sex monkey' stuff anymore. Wife very supportive and careful what she does and how/gentle as well. Take a 20mg Cialis these times as well.
- Mentally better, but still distressed a bit all over this and what may come next as i progress through acute and into chronic phase. If someone told me 2m ago I'd be wearing a traction device, I'd would not have believed them.

Bottom line, still in pain for now, but hope taking action early on will limit the damage longer term. Biggest issue is the pain when getting erection for sex, but getting used to that. It is that I hope will resolve itself in time.

thx again all!

What tension are you using with the device?

QuoteDevice comes off if i move too much.

If the device comes off from you moving, then you probably aren't strapped in tight enough which means you will also not be under enough tension.
This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.

Tension was at least amount, without extensions. device stayed on and was stretching when I didnt move and laid down. Did this 5 days, 2 hrs each time. First 3-4 days with just some soreness for an hour or less after. According to info that came with the device, this was expected.

After day 5, now ongoing new pain. and at partial erection (after  peeing for some reason) saw curvature to right as seen from above, that was not there before. Extremely upset as now I do have the physical effects, all the while was doing this to prevent it.

Stopped traction and hoping for best, but looks like just meds and see where this goes.

VED, done right, may be a better approach.
