I stopped pentox a few days ago due to the side effects and now my penis is firm and dense flaccid, doesn't want to expand, my erections are a good 20% smaller, painful post-erection flaccid. I wish I could tolerate pentox but it began to interfere with work and school. I think I have corneal fibrosis, I saw Lue 9 months ago and his diagnosis was 1cm plaque at the base but there is a lot more going on that just that. I was taking 1200mg for 3 months and stopped without tapering. Has anyone else experienced this kind of reaction when stopping pentox?

Yes - my experience has been that stopping pentox after about 1.5 years of continuous use (for 2 months or so) leads to hardening of scar tissue. I have been back on pentox for the last month and this process has not reversed (scar tissue still hard whereas before going off pentox it was semi-soft). Will keep trying and report back after another month. Other than that, use it or lose, as they say. And everyone reading: if you're on pentox, don't go off it. Deal with the symptoms because the alternative is worse.

Very interesting details here, so I would imagine you would definitely not want to miss a full day's pentox.

Pity when you start taking it again, you don't seem to get the benefit again.

Thanks for the information, guys. Pity it didn't work out for you two.

This drug is expensive and has a lot of side effects such as stomach pain, diarrhea and emorroidis as well. Fcuk that, I cant deal with all this.

What do you mean expensive? As far as I know,it's cheap in Europe and the side effects do exist but are not that common and your body gets more accustomed to them overtime...

Check in your individual country as, unlike the UK, in Spain Pentox is available without a prescription. I can buy from the local Farmacia for €6.50 for 60 x400mg.

I don't take it any more as it has done nothing against my calcified plaque, and the side effects particularly the gastric ones, were becoming intolerable. It also significantly lowered you immune system, so be careful in winter time especially.

What you guys are reporting is amazing.  So if you quickly get off of Pentox you end up worse off?   Have people been able to taper off slowly and not had any regression?

james1947

Maybe coincidence?

I quit Pentox 3*400 mg overnight, no any regression
