Does penis "collapse" at plaque?

Hi everyone,
For those of you who have just one noticeable plaque: If you are lying on your back, semi-erect, does your penis "collapse" at the area of the plaque if you are holding it up by the base? Kind of like as if it's acting as a pivot point?
Mine does this at the mid shaft where I can feel a narrow lump that kind of wraps around the side and it will form an acute angle (only when lying on my back semi-erect). I don't recall that this used to happen.
I still don't know if I have this disease, the ultrasound found some very small areas of calcified and fibrous plaque on the left side of the shaft but apparently it was right on the outer layers and the urologist said there's absolutely nothing to worry about and that many men will have this. I've always had a left congenital curve and it looks like it has gotten a little bit more 'bent' rather than curved but it could just be my obsessive mind.

Unless your Uro is a Peyronie's specialist...get another.  His opinion of "not to worry about it" sounds like crap to me.  Any calcification/fibrosis of the Tunica (which is the "outer layer" underneath the skin) IS definitely something to be concerned about...especially when it causes a "change" in your penis' behavior.

Fibrosis and/or Calcification of the Tunica IS Peyronie's.

If your Dr isn't on these lists, consider finding one who is...

Thanks kuaka, I'll get an appointment with a urologist on that list.
In regards to what you said about any plaque on the penis being peyronies, does that mean that it's not possible to have any scar tissue in the penis and NOT have peyronies? If there was some kind of trauma to a normal penis would it not heal by depositing a small amount of scar tissue and then stopping once the wound was healed, with the expectation that this scar tissue may eventually fade away like any other wound on the body?

I was injured in a severe car accident 34 years ago and developed scarring in the Urethra.  It interferes with my urine stream, but was not otherwise an issue...although I could feel a small ridge of scar about where there Urethra scar was, it was evidently NOT in the Tunica as my erections were straight and mostly functional for 32 years, and four children, after healing.  Not all scarring in the Penis is Peyronie's (PDS).  PDS is specific scarring and/or calcification in the Tunica which interferes with erection.  At least that is my understanding of the diagnosis.  If you have a 'change' in how your penis behaves when becoming erect, when erect or when flaccid, you definitely have something to be concerned about.  I would have an examination by a competent urologist concerning blood flow and vein issues, and once cleared of those begin a VED regimen of expanding the penis to "normal" erect size probably twice daily.  Do NOT over vacuum, as you can injure yourself quite easily, but expanding the penis to "stretch" the Tunica to its natural size a few times a day may mitigate the formation of scarring which can interfere.  A VED "routine" is up, down, rest, repeat about 20 times in as many minutes or less, twice daily.  This should be done flaccid.  If erection occurs, don't pump anymore until it subsides (how you get it to subside is entirely up to you).  Just my unlearned (I'm not a doctor, but I play one on TV...not) opinion.  The use of VED, in my opinion, to maintain penis expandability is something I wish I had started 2 years ago...but that is another story altogether.
