I took ALC for nearly 9 months  (1mg) and I had positive results from it, but had to stop due to the side effects (too stimulated mentally). Does anyone know why ALC and not L-carnitine is seems to be more effective at handling peyronies? Do you think that similar results could be achieve with L-carnitine?

Could you elaborate a bit on the "positive" results you refer to?

ALC stabilized the peyronie's for me. I would still be on it if I could handle it better. It allowed me to maintain my dimensions and helped with EQ. I began taking it when it first noticed symptoms so I cannot say that I saw actual improvement.
