Hello,

I'm looking for more information on using horse chestnut. I've heard there are risks associated with it, but there seems to be evidence of its beneficial effects on inflammation, blood-flow, and overall vein health (It seems to fight plaque formation as well?) . Does anyone have experience with this supplement or info they could share?

Also, I read on Wikipedia that it makes "endothelial cells more permeable to calcium ions," would this be a benefit or a setback?

Thank you, any info is much appreciated.

Do you know this forum is Peyronies dedicated?
Do you have Peyronies?
If yes, what are your symptoms?
If not, you are on the wrong forum.

Hello James,

My symptoms are curvature to the left with a slight hourglass shape, and small but numerous rock-hard "patches" all along the penis.

These patches definitely constrict blood flow. My penis can only achieve 2/3 of a complete erection while being painfully hard at the same time.

While flaccid, it feels like there's a solid metal rod in there.

I thought horse chestnut's vasoprotective, anti-inflammatory, and circulatory effects could be put to good use. But it sounds like you wouldn't recommend it for this condition?

Thanks for your help James.

I don't have nothing against horse chestnut's, I just never heard about it as treatment for Peyronies.
It not means that can't help, my knowledge is limited.
I am proposing to read on the forum to see what other members had done to treat they Peyronies.
