Hello...I'm a 48 yr that just found out I have Peyronies Disease just last week. Never had a problem them about 3 weeks ago during sex the base of my penis was flaccid while the rest was normally erect.  I found too small lumps on each side. I went to see urologist and told me I have Peyronies Disease. I don't have any bending...just no hardness just at the base.  I'm just trying to learn all I can about Peyronies Disease and looking for suggestions on treatment other than the Vitamin E and Veperal(sp) I was told to start. Is what I have common or is it rare? Thanks.

The first thing you need is a clued up Urologist. Vit E won't harm you, but it will do nothing to treat Peyronies. Verapamil, yiu can read about on the site.

If possible, find a Uro who specialises in treating Peyronies. There is a list here on the site. Hopefully, there will be one in your area. Pentox is considered the first line of oral treatment here. That along with low dose Cialis, ALC, etc. I would suggest that you read up on Xiaflex which, depending on your situation, may be an option.

The main thing is to get started treating this now. Vit E ain't going to cut it!

I would like to than everyone on this site and whomever created it for getting this information and sharing their own stories. I have only learned about this disease in the last month and it's a scary thing for us men. This site has given me a lot of information that I didn't get from my Urologist who just gave me the take Vit E and Verpermal cream. I just ordered myself ACL and citrulline malate powder along with getting with my PCP about getting on Pentox.
