Well it's certainly a difficult subject to talk about. At the moment the doctor is calling it Fibrosis. My foreskin is splitting lengthwise and across. It is painful to pee. I have been using non-ionic cream in hopes of helping skin elasticity but now I have nine or ten splits around the circumference. I do not know the difference between this fibrosis and peyronies, perhaps that affects the deeper tissues?, but would appreciate any advice. I hope my situation isn't as serious as it sounds.

Change the doctor that is calling it Fibrosis and get a second opinion.
I don't understand how can be fibrosis on your fore skin. Did you injured yourself?
From what you are writing, can't get any idea/conclusion.

Thanks james. What happened is that two weeks ago I noticed one or two splits in the foreskin. When the skin is retracted the splits are toward the base of penis, but when sheathed they are at the tip if that makes any sense. I have putting the cream on everyday and when they start to heal the scar tissue is tighter and ends up splitting again. He said he didn't know much about what causes it and prescribed a hydrocortisone cream. I'm sorry if I have offended by posting.

I will think about getting a second opinion or moving to a more credible doctor. Thanks

You have not offended no one Mozzie.  :)
What I am saying that your doctor is not what you need.
You must find a doctor that will give you clear answers and treatment.
It is right for any health problem, I mean a doctor that will know what to do.
I understand correct that the split is not form injury?
I don't think the problem will effect deeper tissues, but it may cause infection.
I must mention that I am not a doctor and expressing my own opinion.
