After some searching I found this thread https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,4392.msg51945.html#msg51945 and I have also found some posts there and here about this idea which someone said they were going to put into life. I have not seen any results of this (any devices that actually work?) so therefore I am opening this thread.

The aim of this thread: To discuss the idea of a do-it-yourself battery driven electrical heating sleve that is portable and concealable and could be worn for an extended time on the penis during daily life and activities. Essentially a miniature homemade electrical blanket.

Im thinking about and would love to make an electrical heating sleve that is minimal in size, that is powered by small batteries and that has a "control interface" housing the batteries that fits in the pockets of normal pants. Its function would be to provide an optimal temperature for blood to heal the tissue in the outermost 2/6 part of my penile shaft and glans. For me this area is noticeably colder then the rest of the shaft, and it is here I believe that my soft tissue plaque sits.

Questions:

1. In the case of heat as therapy, would longer exposure time equal better treatment outcome?

I am inclined to say yes exposing the penis for mild heat during the whole day would dilute the blood vessels causing more blood flow = increased the amount healing.

Can anyone think of any potential for harm caused by using "device" for an extended period of time - that is when temperature is controlled. Might heat increase healing but then slow it if used for a too long period? Or is optimal healing temperature always optimal nomatter for how long ones penis is exposed to it (I would think so, but I am no doctor).

I would love if someone could write the "optimal temperature for healing" here in this thread, I believe I have seen it mentioned in studies posted on heat therapy here before but I cannot find it again, might it be somewhere between 38-40 celcius.

2. Does anyone know how such a device could be made ? I am here talking about the specifics. I am sadly no engineer and stripped of more than the most basic knowledge about electrical appliances, but I am thinking it is feasible and possible to be made cheap and by oneself. I suppose all one really needs is some copper wire sown into some fabric that fits snugly around the penis, with a battery supplying electricity and thereby heat to the wires somehow. This is offcourse rudimentary and would probably turn the wires too hot and make the whole thing and thereby my penis catch fire, which I suspect might be a bit much of the good thing, so there has to be some kind control mechanism between the battery and the wires that makes the temperature constant and at such a level that would provide optimal healing.

I suspect some of the members here might have thought of this already and I warmly welcome you to share your ideas and knowledge about how this can be put to life.

Its possible to buy gloves that have a heating element in them that are battery powered, you may need to lengthen the wires and put a plug and socket inline to have the batteries in your pockets but I would thnk fairly easy to do.

I am going to try to do something like this anyway. It's so cool.

We don't know optimal temperature, but we do know a temperature that works which is 39-40C for 30 minutes - Role of hyperthermia in the treatment of Peyronie's disease: a preliminary study. - PubMed - NCBI

I would absolutely love to be able to apply a consistent temperature to the length of the penis while using my traction device. I have no doubt it would greatly increase the positive results seen, and the speed at which they happen.

I wonder if this could be modified to suit the purpose - https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11288

Would need some way of regulating and monitoring the temperature though.
This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.

For the amount of $3.95 + shipping in the US worth to buy one, separate it from the hard board and try to connect it to a flexible board
