I've been following the forum for a few weeks now and appreciate the candidness and wealth of information from you guys who are also dealing with Peyronie's.

My situation was the result of trauma during intercourse with my much loved wife of 40plus years.   I'd never heard of Peyronie's and foolishly assumed the injury would heal on it's own in time, so I didn't see a urologist until about 6 months after the trauma occurred.   He is a local fellow who treated my prostate (green-light surgery) almost a year ago.   I have the greatest respect for him as he has referred me to someone who is more of a specialist about 100 miles from where I live.

I only saw the specialist's understudy who confirmed Peyronie's and has put me on Pentox.   After hours of reading of other's experience in this forum, I've decided on my own to also start taking Coenzyme Q-10, L-Arginine and low dose Cialis.

My next appointment is in late July, but I will be seeing the specialist and not his very young associate.

I'm fortunate that intercourse is still possible, though difficult (on my part) and much less frequent, even with the use of Viagra.

The condition really shook my confidence earlier on, but, thankfully, I am married to a very understanding, loving (and passionate) woman and we are (pardon the pun) limping our way through as best as possible.

Again, fellows, thank you for sharing your experiences and advice.   Good luck to all.   --artguy

Good to hear that you have a Urologist who admits his own lack of knowledge about this disease, there aren't that many of them!

You seem to be in the right track with what you're doing. If suggest that you use Ubiquinol instead of CoQ10 it's more expensive, but far more bio available. I'd also recommend Cotrulline Mallate instead of Arginine, for the same reasons. Also add ALC. Both are available in powder form, which is far cheaper, and both are easily dissolvable in water.

For general penile health and to help with curvature, read up on VED therapy. That and/or traction.
