arginine loss possibly creates plaques in alzheimers...role in peyronies??

I am not sure if this is the right area but found it interesting. A researcher found that immune cells would consume arginine and this lead to plaques in the brain.  By blocking this process the plaques wouldn't form and possibly cure alzheimers.  This is interesting considering the role of inflammation, plaques, and autoimmunity in peyronies.  I have suffered from various autoimmune and inflammation issues for awhile including: peyronies(20 years), hypothyroidism(5 years), possible hyperthyroidism, plantar fasciitis(15 years), and other injuries that wouldn't heal at all.  The link to the article is below.

Great, now I'm worried about Alzheimers too :-\
Actually really interesting on lots of levels, I had no idea that they could alter mice to more replicate the human immune system.
