This company is developing an injectable solution that includes Pentox for Peyronie's. It's mentioned at the end of this link. Thoughts?

Imprimis Pharmaceuticals Reports on Third Quarter 2014 Financial Results and Provides Update... -- SAN DIEGO, Nov. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --

Neo,

That is an interesting development. An injection might reduce the GI side effects that Pentox is infamous for. I wonder though if the red blood cell deformability will occur with a local injection. My understanding is that pentox must be taken over a period of time to make the blood cells "squishy" to get into small capillaries. Would that happen with an injection? Would it be a series of injections?

I hope it works, regardless.

I can't say much else other than I hope it works also, and I'm pretty skeptical. Any injectable, be it saline will temporarily reduce symptoms and possible even stretch out that scar tissue. I'd like to see more therapies aimed at fixing the root cause, so less injectables and less new patents.. but at least this is some small evidence that pentox is becoming more accepted and more mainstream.

I am taking pentox injections. Until now unfortunately I didn`t see that much of improvement. I have taken it for 4 weeks. And I just started to take it orally.

"until now" sounds like you are seeing improvements?  Or do you mean "so far"?

Injecting your penis to treat this disease on a constant basis, to me doesn't seem like a Good idea. Who is to say the constant injections don't make it worse? Also, now that xiaflex is fda approved, who's to say it won't be further studied and modified for better results?

Injections in the penis makes Peyronies as pfract has written in other words.
See all the for ED injecting people that are getting Peyronies and they are injecting ones in a while.

I consider a direct injection into the plaque of a plaque softening agent something of a mixed bag.  Any cut, poke, tear of the tunica can be perceived as a "new" injury, and stimulate additional scar tissue growth.  If it can be done orally or trans dermal, there is less opportunity to have the tissue respond to additional injury.

Does anyone know when Imprimis plans on releasing the findings on their injectable pentox?

Ok, I have finished my Pentox shots. I got six, every time doctor was applying around three times. There was no results at all. I think pentox and verapamil shots should be extinct. It is more than proven they don`t work and put in risk our penis again...
I am still taking pentox orally three times a day. I don`t know about improvements yet, since it has just 1 month I started it.
I am also taking magnesium 2 times a day, ALC once daily, doing exercises, eating well and I am 27. I have always done exercises and I eat very well since long time ago. I just discovered my grandpa, his brother and sun and one cousin of mine have this condition. But all of them lived or are living very well with this. So, I don`t think mine will get worse too.
I will keep you guys informed about any improvement. Luck for you guys!!! Thanks.
