drew67.............Not sure if this would work.  The Pentox would need to be turned into some kind of liquid form, and DMSO would need to be used to try and get the Pentox into the penis.  It's a thought..........but, not sure that would work.  Don't give up thinking of ideas.....some of us need those new ideas.  dplookin

Pentox works by making red blood cells squishy so they can fit through small capillaries and bring oxygen and nutrients to tissues. For this effect, it must be ingested because it's a systemic change to your body. Pentox also inhibits (stops) TGF-beta, a chemical involved in forming scar tissue. Perhaps that effect might be possible in a topical application. However, the tunica, where Peyronie's scar tissue is located, is deep within the penis. Topical medicine just is not absorbed that far.

[Full quote removed by admin]  Drew67 we discourage full quotes of previous quotes as it isn't necessary.

Perhaps a compounding pharmacy would be able to use a liposomal base so that it can be absorbed at the tunica.

pentox is soluble in water and has molecular weight below 300,  so perhaps could well be transdermal with either DMSO (threshold is about 1000) or Phlojel (about 400)
but, does anyone have any ideas on dosages in this case? as surely much less than 400mg would be needed.
thanks
Age 57, Onset 2010, 2" shortening, shrinking and angulation of glans, weaker erections, 30 degree bend. Mild pain few months, but far from worst symptom. Tried many ideas, not just from here, but not consistently. Moderate improvement, maybe 40%
