I am so glad I discovered this forum!. I am a 63 year old and my peyronies  just started without any trauma or anything that I can put a finger on 4 months ago. I just started with a painful erection, the pain faded when flaccid, but I could feel there was something wrong with my penis so I went to my doctor, who sent me along to a urologist. Like many (it seems) on this forum the urologist confirmed it was peyronies, then said there was nothing to do but wait, and when the curvature stopped we could discuss surgery if I wanted, or if the curvature was too extreme. When I asked about alternative or none surgical measures he was dismissive of them to say the least. I am going to talk to my doctor and take along some of the articles in this forum (boy there are lots of them!) and see if I can get some prescription medication (pentox or equivalent). Cialis is over $80.00 for just 4 pills! I can't afford that. I have just ordered a traction device as it seems doing something early is better than waiting (I ordered a quick extender pro Peyronies version, it will be interesting to see if it works). My erections are still painfull, and there seems to be increasing plaque, hopefully I can arrest or slow down further progression. My wife is understanding, but has commented that sex causes her discomfort now, I am just glad that I can still achieve erections easily, even if they are painful, I don't know how long that will last as the psychological effects of the problem manifest, as I am sure they will. it looks like I have lots more reading to do on here, but I wanted to say hello and introduce myself.
