Peyronie's affecting underside of urethra

Hey everyone, it's been a while since I've posted a topic and failed to find other threads dedicated to this. The answer may be obvious to some, but please ease my mind..

My Peyronie's is limited to the underside of my urethra, and manifested itself originally at the early age of 19 as two distinct dents halfway up my penis. Once the disease hit full throttle when I was 24, these dents became the basis for some major changes and worsening creating hourglassing.

My big question, is simply how many of you have what I describe? I know many have visible dents and narrowing of the side of their penises as I have seen in medical images, but how about the urethra only?

For those who do have what I describe, have you had an ultrasound? and what did it reveal? Has your ultrasound revealed scar tissue under the urethra, and how has your prognosis been?

The reason I ask, is because I do not have access to an ultrasound in Tokyo, and often times a devil in my mind whispers to me that I do not have Peyronie's despite my near classic and textbook deformity, and what I really have is urethral scarring causing deformity -- this is definitely a possibility, though I had a cystoscopy..

Lastly, and sorry to add more to this, but upon feeling the area I can tell that veins or our "mystery cords" go over the urethra at the dents, as if somehow, in yet another scenario, my veins have become thrombosed and now branch out from repeated aneurysms caused from years of extreme pelvic clenching to achieve orgasm.

As you can see, without a true diagnosis my mind is filled with these thoughts and it drives me to too all sorts of sorrow.

I know only an ultrasound can help me here and I need to see a specialist bad, but it won't be a while until I can. Thanks guys.

Hey Neo, my conditions isn't exactly like yours, but I do suspect urethral scarring in my case too. Why? Urination problems, weak steam, dribbling, etc. Do you have anything like that? I also need an ultrasound and think I'll be able to get one on the 24th, but we'll see. Sorry I don't have any advice for you.

Do you know of a reason for having urethral scarring? I have some scarring of the urethra from a poorly implemented emergency catheterisation while I was in urinary retention 24 hours after circumcision. The site of the injury is located right next to the first plaque I developed, so I believe the medical injury was the trigger for my development of peyronie's. But my other 6 plaques that have developed in the years since are not located directly along the urethra, although two are close. For a long time after the injury I had issues urinating, with a painful and weak flow and dribbling, burning sensation etc. However once the lump calcified the pain stopped and flow became more normal. It's the newer plaques that cause me pain now. Have you experienced urinary discomfort?

That's ok Clab thanks for the response, I have a slight split stream, urethral irritation and a history of prostate problems. : (

Welshwales did you have ultrasound or cystoscopy to show you had scarring?

I have a small stricture in the opening of my utrethra and chronic irritation there that's made worse by ejaculation. In fact, my penis bends after ejaculation, as if the semen itself is irritating and bending my urethra. I do have genital HSV-1, and it may have caused the initial urethral stricture but I'm not too sure. On inspection, I'd say it looks more like BXO. A doctor here in Tokyo thought I had Reiter's syndrome since I also have chronic joint pain that started when my penis and urethra started to bother me. It may be an immune response.

I do have regular urethral irritation, I can't tell if it's because of a small tear in my meatus (urethral opening), the small stricture, or some generalized inflammatory condition such as BXO or resulting from Reiter's.

It's very hard for me to tell, but in general pain in my lower urethra near the dents has subsided!

In fact, when my Peyronie's really took off I had a bad sensation near the dents in the urethra, an itching of some sort. Now that my dents are much more smoothed out and I've recovered a good bit that's gone and I just have some irritation at the tip of my penis. Good news I'm hoping.

I guess I just really wanted some proof, that scarring can happen under the urethra, and that it isn't scarring or stricture. But I guess both can happen anyhow, so I really just need an ultrasound.

I had a cystoscopy. But it was pretty evident even before that.

You also say you suspect you have BXO? Are you treating that with any kind of cream and foreskin stretches? It can get pretty nasty without treatment. After years of creams etc I still ended up having a circumcision in the end. The creams would work at first, then the bxo would become resistant. Everyone I know or have spoken to who has had bxo ended up with a circ. Its a real cr*ppy condition.

NeoV

I am starting to suspect involvement of BXO in a painful problem and small structure I have in my urethra. I will try to get a biopsy and see someone here in Tokyo.

I do not have it on my foreskin, only my urethra, for it to get worse would be very unpleasant.

You're right in that BXO is nasty, or can be even devastating. I sometimes wonder if urethral disease such as BXO is the entire cause of my penile bending, since every time I have post ejaculatory bending my urethra is red and inflamed. I still have constant irritation in my urethra that makes work and daily life very difficult. Aside from my Peyronie's, this issue is my last hurdle to find sexual wellness.

NeoV,

I have plagues at different places and they can basicly coem up wherever conenctive tissue is I suppose.
Looking at anatomical pictures Tunica albuginea (penis) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia youcan see that the urethrea has atunica too albeit thinner.

I have hourglassing and 2-3 of these "veins" too.

And yes I think the assumption that the plagues stress veins, smooth msucle cells etc. is true and they might grow around them or pressure them.

I got one free from a plague(DMSO, DMSO based Solutions and TOPICAL Treatments - Peyronies Society Forums) I suppose and maybe I got better circulation cause of this.
Daily Transdermals and Traction/VED solved my Peyronies Disease https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,12587.0.html (DMSO+X)

@NeoV It sounds like we have very similar deformities, I would really appreciate some consultation if you wouldn't mind.
Upward congenital curvature. Woke up with mysterious eggplant penis. Indentation/plaque on the underside of my penis at the base and worsened upward curve. Decent EQ, flaccid pain

Started Penimaster Pro + TBH + heat + topical/oral cocktail
